“Lovely italian staff and good italian pizza!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2013 via mobile

Pizzas like in Rome between 9 an 13 euros. Were here with 12 collegues without reservation. Just dropped by because the place seemed cosy. They quickly arranged a table for all of us. Good wine and friendly staff with good understanding of english :-) A place to recommend if you like real italian food!!!!!

“A little gem - good value and friendly”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2013

A small, busy restaurant (we were lucky to get a table at about 9pm on a Thursday without booking).
Fabio, the owner is very friendly: a salesman, but in a good way, and very proud of his sourcing fresh ingredients with as many as possible coming from Sicily where he learned to cook from his parents.
The food was simply prepared and tasted fresh and delicious with careful attention to balancing the ingredients. Try the tuna salad - very nice, and the pasta with pistachio pesta is really delicious. We were given a very pleasant dish of homemade nibbles and green olives with our pre-dinner drinks. The bread with the salad was OK and the only part of the meal that one could fairly criticise, but this is a small thing.
The prices are very reasonable for food prepared with this amount of care.
We would definitely go again if in Berlin looking for Italian food

“Amazing pasta!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2013 via mobile

Great little place in Berlin, Sicily in Germany. The owner was our server, and explained the whole menu, which is a little small, but only because they make everything fresh that day. Gnocchi is made an hour before they open and the best we've ever had. Pricey, but worth the splurge. Highly recommend!

“Fresh Pasta in Berlin?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2013

We were in the mood for good Italian. And Caffe Bocconi was fantastic. The vegetable Antipasta was delicious and the gnocchi is a must try. We also had the pistachio tagliatelle, which was unique but the flavoring was a bit light for our taste buds. The pasta was freshly made which is the reason the meal was so perfect. We stayed at the Waldorf, so it was a nice walk from the hotel. I would recommend this as a nice relaxed fine dining Italian meal.
