The less you know about this place the better, if you like weird, history or design you will love it, if you don't you'll enjoy the browse anyway...

This is a museum for the curious. The museum exhibit items that used to be of functional value in some activity or process. Put in a different context, and displayed as design items, it can be difficult to figure out what the function used to be. Do not go if you just like to look at pretty things. This museum calls for some brain activity to be valued as good.

If you are looking for something unique to do in Berlin look no further! The curator of this unusual museum, Vlad, gives an informative and imaginative tour that will challenge your perceptions and make you think differently about the designs and objects in our world we take for granted every day. I highly recommend this museum and to have Vlad take you on his tour.

This museum is unlike any other museum or gallery we've ever visited. After reading the reviews here we gladly paid for Vlad to give us a guided tour. We would never have understood the purpose of a single object if it wasn't for Vlad asking the right questions and giving us a few (or many) ques (and in many cases the answers). Great fun and really interesting!

Really "out there," however, was by myself and told I could only get a guided tour if I was with a group (it was either 2 or 3 persons minimum). Was in a time crunch anyway, so I wouldn't have been able to do it.

Really cool place if you like taking unique pictures. It was like stepping onto the set of Metropolis or Brazil.

However, seeing all the objects and not knowing what their function was a bit of a drag... Woulda liked to be able to guess and then told. The intro Vlad gave with 1 object before the tour was real intriguing! I just wish he had been able to give me the tour.
