“Nice atmosphere”
Reviewed November 20, 2012

Nice atmosphere and close to hotel. Popular with tourists and locals. Food not extraordinary, but Okee. We came there a couple of times just for the atmosphere and the good staff

“Could be better”
Reviewed October 31, 2012

Nothing to write home about.
Nice welcome in French from a laid back but friendly waiter.
I had the evening memo for €26. As a starter a pumpkin risotto with rabbit filet which was excellent. Top notch!
As main entrecôte (which was OK) with root veg and 'pommes de terres parisiennes', which came from a jar.
Finally a crêpe with pineapple cream, which was tough, cold and from a packet.
Shame! What started off promising rapidly went downhill.
The service was OK, one older waiter was a bit grumpy and didn't say anything when clearing away plates.
The other guests included French speakers, probably looking for a taste of home.
I'm not sure they will have found it.

“Good food slightly spoiled by slow service”
Reviewed October 6, 2012 via mobile

I ate here one night. Food was good - very pleasant onion soup and an excellent steak with bearnaise sauce and frites. But it was rather marred by rather slow service. They were busy but only 'my waiter' was able to serve me so I sat for 15 mins with an empty plate in front of me. Apart from that though there was a pleasant ambience. They have a nice terrace space to people watch on the Ku'Damm and staff were friendly. Most other diners seemed to be enjoying their food and perhaps as a single diner I wasn't seen as high priority. Would certainly try it again with friends
