We stayed in room 416 with my girlfriend during our visit. The room 416 were extremely small. A space between bed and walls were about an half meter. Bathroom were the same. It was almost imposible to turn in a a shower. Walls seems to be too thin so that you are able to hear a noise of another rooms.
Location and breakfast, on the other hand, were wery good. Staff was ok, but the Wi-Fi did not work at our room.

I was in an extremely small room with strange smells. the walls must be very thin as I could hear everything going on next door with noisy neighbours. Having said that the breakfast was not bad even though the tables and chairs leave a little to be desired.

We went here during our school-trip. Rooms are small, WiFi won't work and the breakfast room has not enough table for every client. Bad places, but it is near the centre and the prices are good. But the staff is here all day long and speak a fluent English (certainly better than mine).

A hotel on two floors of an old building that really did not live up to what we expected. We chose this one a little out of the centre of Berlin because it offered parking onsite (at an extra cost) for our stay. We found street parking and on check-in was told to leave our car on the street as that is what the parking they offered. You drive around until you find a spot near the hotel and then can get a sticker from the hotel for your car window (that's the cost). The hotel is in the middle of a busy shopping strip and even on the weekend free parking spots were rare, but at least on the weekend you don't have to pay the fees, so that was something positive. But in all honesty it is false advertising to say 'public parking onsite' when they clearly can't supply that.
Our room issue was a shoebox with horribly worn carpet at the bedsides and an awful small and dinghy bathroom. I complained to reception and degrudgedly she gave us another room which was much larger and had some attempt of renovation. We were here for three nights so felt our request was valid. When we checked out we saw other rooms on the street side of the hotel which were much larger again. The breakfast was average. I would not stay here again.

First of all, the service was excellent at this hotel. The atmosphere was very warm and the people nice. My boyfriend got sick one day (bad takeaway from the U-bahn), and the ladies working there did everything they could to make him feel better – bringing tea, water and food to our room, extra towels, paper etc. They gave him advice on what to eat and when and often asked me how he was doing. I can't thank them enough for their friendliness.

The rooms were surprisingly spacious for Berlin and had a very comfy and big bed (about 2 m wide), tv, fridge, chairs and a table. The shower was really nice and modern, very fresh.

The breakfast was alright with a variety of things to choose from. The white bread and the chocolate cereals were particularly good.

The location is not far from perfect if you like West Berlin. There are loads of interesting stores nearby, and the metro is about 50 m from the doors. Don't forget to ask for the code to the outer door.

The only thing I could complain about is that there is a slight smell of smoke from time to time. I think that the cleaning lady smokes in the waiting room, but at least it was not noticeable at our room.

I generally prefer the East side of Berlin, but I can really recommend this hotel.

I enjoyed my stay there, staff were very helpful ,the hotel offers excellent location at very reasonable price . It is a budget hotel and no one expects a 5 star treatment, we got a spacious room with tasty breakfast/ at 5 in the morning to catch our plane !/

I was traveling alone and didn't plan on staying in the hotel for too long during the day.
The building doesn't seem like it contains a hotel. They were doing renovations in 2nd floor in the building and they would start working with hammers and what not at 7am for 15 minutes then halt the work until 10am and resume then. They woke me up everyday, no need for an alarm clock ( read with sarcasm). Elevator was quite slow so sometimes i would just prefer going up to the 4th floor by stairs than wait for it!
Breakfast was normal, albeit no hot meal (occasionally omelet).
Noisy wooden floor at some points in the hotel.
Staff was alright although except for the receptionist they hardly knew english.
They had a problem with supplying the towels: They put 3 in the room and decide to change two of them everyday when they clean the room.
So you just get what you pay for!
P.S: need to request password for the internet at the reception - its free.
