We really enjoyed our stay here. Firstly, it isn't cheap, but very fairly priced for the quality of the furnishings, the space and the area. The room is very cool, but maybe a little clinical. It feels a nit like sleeping in a i-phone. I would personally have loved a bit more colour or something fun; but immaculately clean, excellent bed, gorgeous bathroom. EXCEPT the bath is ludicrous. It's a) too deep to get out of without assistance - I'm far from elderly or infirm - and b) It's right next to / attached to the bed, so you worry about damp air and soaking everything.
Breakfast is fresh, light and appropriate and the Thai food in the restaurant is excellent and very fairly priced. The staff in the bar made our trip - so kind, funny and attentive. Lovely people here, and you feel that the hotel is a very happy team. Lastly, the area, Charlottenburg, is the wealthier, less 'cool' part of town, but suited us very well as a base to explore Berlin and a gracious relaxing area to return to in the evening - and some great restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay her gain.
