Modern hotel situated in a very nice location in the new centre of Berlin close to the shopping streets. Its a small city boutique hotel with extravagant design. The rooms are well decorated not very big but enough for a couple. The surprise was the Spa (voted as one of the best spas on Europe). Its a small spa but the sand relaxing room worths a try. Higly suggested for what you pay. Tip: there is an Italian restaurant that we enjoyed a lot very near.

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The room with bath was just perfect to relax after a long visiting day. And the breakfast was nice and fresh.
I recommend it because its close to everything by U-bahn or S-bahn and Berlin is also nice to discover by bike. I'm planning to go back to that city once and I will be happy to choose Q hotel again.

The design and style of this hotel are it's major selling point; although this should not make you think that it has style over substance. Great service, comfortable rooms and an unbeatable location for sightseeing (the nearest S-bahn is 1 minutes walk away) make this a thoroughly enjoyable stay. It is pricey, but well worth the money. A special mention should go to the hotel's excellent fruhstuck; a top breakfast.

I Stayed inn the hotel for a week. The staff was friendly. The design made the stay more pleasant. There were only one clear sorrow the breakfast price. The breakfast was 20 €, and to be honest not to impressing.

This hotel certainly has a bit of a wow factor from the reception lifts and lobbies to the rooms. We stayed in a studio (junior suite) which was spacious and and nice to be in. Yes the concept design of the bed/bath did compromise practicality (difficult to get in/out of bed) and the mattress could have been better as could the soundproofing. Overall, it really worked for a weekend of sightseeing and clubbing in this vibrant city. The staff didn't bat an eyelid when we rolled in at 7am and fitted the room cleaning around our movements. Location is a bit far from the best nightlife on the east side but there a plenty of great restaurants and bars around and its handy for both the S and U railways. If you want a funky, flexible base to enjoy a city break and are prepared to pay a bit more then go for it. Not sure I'd recommend for business though.

Room Tip: Suites on the 7th floor are spacious, some have small balconies.

Stayed here for business at the recommendation of some colleagues. Definitely more of a tourist oriented hotel. My room was small with a lot of features that were simply design for design's sake. For example, the sink was in the room next to the bed, and the bed was built into a curved-wood paneled platform that I had to clamber over each time I got into bed.
Room was also on the front of the building so I couldn't open the window because the street noise was excessive.
Room finishes and materials were all simple and not luxurious.

I guess they forgot the word BAD when classifying it as a Design Hotel. Most inconvenient rooms with an oversized useless bathtub in the middle and attached bed that made it impossible to get in and out of it, not exactly helped by being the softest and worst mattrass ever!
The rooms are so small that when you sit at the plank that serves as a working desk, your partner can not get by. No safe to lock your valuables away and a TV that is the size of my ipad!
Adding a cool foto wall paper to the ceiling and red lights in the corridors does not make it a Design Hotel.
Great breakfast was the highlight even though the staff is snotty and slightly too cool!
Save your money, there are much better choices in this amazing city!
