Nice Dim Sum restaurant in an atmosphere that successfully mixes Asian and modern/industrial inspirations.

The menu (both in English and German) offers a variety of cold and warm Dim Sum: you'll compose your dinner by ordering a number of these, and sharing them, which is rather entertaining. Since most of them cost around 8-9 euro (from 5 to 17 euro each), and you'll want to order at least 3 for each guest, plus wine (bottles start at 30), it doesn't end up being as cheap as the term "canteen" might suggest.

Service was rather poor, so don't go there if you're in a hurry ! But the restaurant decoration and ambiance makes waiting a bearable experience.

I booked a table at Long March for my boyfriends birthday. We arrived on time and our table was ready within minutes. We were sat there waiting for no one to show up. Eventually we asked the waitress for menus and the wine menu. We had to wait another 15 mins before we could order.
We finally ordered food and wine at the same time. And funnily enough - our food arrived BEFORE our wine! And even that took 45 minutes. Unacceptable.
The food was good though, albeit a bit pricey for Berlin. I would recommend the pork belly.
Of course this didn't go smoothly either, as we didn't get one of our dishes. We had to remind the waitress to bring our last dish but it never arrived. When we got the bill, they wanted to charge us for it.... We obviously asked to have it removed and they agreed to that, no apologies though.
All in all, an okay evening - thanks to my company.

Was here (the 6th time) yesterday evening with three friends. A bright sunny spring evening, but the windows all blacked out with heavy curtains, have seen this before in winter but thought then it was just a winter thing to create a feeling of warmth; it's not, and a big mistake on a sunny evening. Have sat outside in summer though.
Although we had reserved a table for four, and there were tables for four available, we were shown to a table for twelve, with long benches and given the table-end. Later came more guests, and despite the table (and many others) being empty, they were seated (squeezed) directly next to us.
The service is... 'attentive'; a waiter and waitresss came to us at least five times within ten minutes, looking unamused that we hadn't decided yet. You feel pressured into ordering.
Food is good, some dishes very good, but not exceptional, and very over priced.
At some point we'd used an empty plate next to us for waste, and swapped plates over. We were told by an unfriendly waitress (middle-aged, dyed, straight, red hair, heavily tattooed arms - nothing aginst tattoos, just wanna make it plain who it was), in an unfriendly tone: 'Dass machen wir eigentlich' 'That's actually what we do' as she snatched the plate away.
Food was... okay, most of the dishes we ordered I've had before when the Long March first opened and they were delicious, now they are a poor version of what came before, and obviously not from the same chef. A typical story of great at first and then quality and attention to service, goes downhill.
Atmosphere is more or less nothing, dark as already mentioned, and has a fast-food feeling; squeeze you in, feed you, get your money and get you out. We spoke mostly English and were treated like tourists (we've all lived in Berlin over 20 years) which happens a lot nowadays in Belin, it's getting like Spain!
We paid €204, without tip, for four people, including few drinks; aperitif and one bottle of wine.
Was good, now over priced, over rated, under friendly.
We won't bother again.

The menu is essentially dim sum and there is a nice variety from which to choose, most costing about 5 euros per plate. We went on a Sunday night for dinner and the restaurant was less than half full and service was fast and attentive. To be clear, this is perhaps not the most creative dim sum menu. We ordered from both the warm and cold dim sum menu and sampled about 12 different dishes. All were tasty but one item was very disappointing and easy to skip and those are the dumplings. They are quite large and clumsy and just not very impressive in either appearance or taste.
