We went there after reading the Trip Advisor reviews, it was a Saturday night and our last night in Berlin. The place was packed and there were already people waiting, but we got a cheerful welcome stating there would be a table soon. We had a drink at the bar and ogled the desserts and I knew I wanted to stay despite the wait. The staff worked manically and we were soon seated, it was a bit of a squeeze and it was very warm but it felt alive and energetic. Service was good, the staff work very hard and the food was absolutely excellent. We were given lovely bread with olive oil, shared a salad and both chose pasta dishes, mine were a type of Ravioli stuffed with Mascarpone, Spinach and Hazelnuts in a Butter and Sage sauce. Divine. My partner went for pasta with beef fillet in a creamy mushroom sauce. I had to have a dessert, unfortunately the profiteroles were all gone, so I had a lemon sponge which was very light and flavoursome, a perfect ending to my meal. We had eaten out all week, this was the the fourth Italian meal we had in Berlin and it was by far the best.
