For our last night in Berlin we wanted something German, local and highly rated. The Schlossgarten appeared to fit the bill, and it did. We were welcomed as soon as we entered and were seated at a window table. The menu was in english and gave a good choice of classic dishes with some interesting variations. I had the roast pork knuckle with bread dumplings and sauerkraut, herself had beef with horseradish and beetroot. Both were absolutely excellent. We washed the food down with a very nice German red wine recommended by the waiter. Price is fair and the service impeccable. Highly recommended.
