The hotel is located at the end of the Kurfürstendamm in Berlin. i like it because of the friendly personal and the ecological approach. I love the breakfast that is a gourmet buffet and enables to start the day in an adequate way.

I asked for a quiet room and was upgraded yo a very nice room on the top floor with a 17 meters balcony towards the garden, lovely view over the rooftops and Funkturm Berlin. This hotel is just lovely, can´t understand I missed it during my last visit. Very good location on Ku´damm lots of buzz around the hotel but still quiet when you wan´t too sleep. Perfect. Polite and effective staff. Trendy and clean room. Excellent breakfast. Highly recommended!

Room tip: Quiet rooms towards the garden

To call it a design hotel, is an exaggeration. But the rooms are simple and the beds are good if you like a hard mattress. We liked the location although as others have pointed out it is not the most central. The staff is friendly but at times seem overworked. We would return if we decided to stay in this part of Berlin again.

Our family of 3, my wife and 17 year old son stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Staff was extremely helpful with directions to various tourist sites. We did not have breakfast included as it was 16 euros PP. However, there are several bakeries just across the street. The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to buses and the trains ( U and S bahns). I strongly recommend getting the 3 day transport pass which costs 28 euros PP for 72 hours from when first used. Most buses go to Adenauerplatz and you can then get numerous connections from there. I strongly recommend taking the 100 bus which stops at most tourist spots including the eagles column, Reichstag building, Brandenberg gate, The museum Island and Alexanderplatz.

Nothing wrong at all with this place. Relatively inexpensive, transportation options are very close including multiple bus lines that stop on the corner and a 10-15 min walk to the nearest U station. Nice little bakery with breakfast across the street along with other restaurants within a 5-10 min walk.
The negative? The rooms are very spartan. Minimal decorations with an overly strong modernistic feel to the place. Breakfast upstairs is extremely overpriced so don't pay for that ahead of time.
All in all, it's a nice value.
