Utilising the Palace as the backdrop, this Xmas Market is scenically absolutely spectacular. Added to that, with no noisy funfair, there is no distraction; stalls are quality and the food and drink available exceptionally good examples of the best a German Market can offer. Really a fantastic evening out for all ages - not to be missed if in Berlin in December

This was nice to visit and the Palace is lovely. I was a little disappointed by the Christmas markets as there wasn't too many compared to others.

Worth a visit. Plus winter market here in December. Market a nice added feature and nuce to walk through after palace. Gluiwein will warm u on a cold day. Palace 13 euro each. Worth a walk round. Explains about how much was damaged in the bombings. But well restored. Very pretty to look at.

Whilst on a four day trip to Berlin used the buses to visit the palace and Christmas market directly outside.
The audio information was very good and gave lots of information. Shame you can't take pictures. The lower level was a contrast to the renovated and brighter rooms upstairs.
It was too cold to stroll around the gardens but I'm sure they are stunning in the summer.
I wouldn't go again but glad it was on my list of things to do
The Christmas market was mainly food outlets but worth a stroll

Took my Aunty and Uncle here when they were visiting Berlin. The palace (summer residence) is beautiful and is a good afternoons worth of sightseeing. The gardens are best in the summertime (of course) and then you can pretty much spend the whole day here. The porcellain collection is an eye opener! Look out for the weather vain on top and then find out where you can read it from inside!
