Wondered in here after spending a day on a bike tour. Great place for a beer or coffee. Lots of atmosphere, maybe grungey for some tastes, but hey it beats Starbucks next door. Well worth a visit.

We stumbled across this wee cafe whilst looking for a different bar but got a seat, got a beer and soaked in the Berlin cafe culture. The place is a bit shabby but that just added character. The cafe is next to an alley that is covered in great pieces of street art so a wee perusal up the lane is also a must.
And if you fancy a famous Berlin kebab there is a great shop across the street. I had 4 in that shop over 5 days...

Nice atmosphere , reasonable price, if you are in the area and need a coffee or a beer make a stop.. In the summer it has tables in the alley next to it

We wandered around Berlin and drank in various places, all in all this place was by far the best for a nice drink. It was the cheapest place we drank and it was brimming with atmosphere. You are lucky to get a table straight away as its only small but we managed both times! The beer and spirit selection was good but the wine (to be blunt) was really bad! We are home now writing this review and would love nothing more than to nip back for a cozy... yet frosty Erdinger!

This charming, unpretentious cafe is definitely worth of visit if you're in Mitte. It has a fab atmosphere, people are coming and going and the buzz is enchanting. Food and drinks reasonably priced!
