“Great location”

Very good location for sight seeing and walking to attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Finding the check-in location was a bit tricky as it looks like an office complex and is tucked in a corner like one of the offices.

Very close to Lafayette Galery and fashion shops, it has a nice location inside an closed yard with a local restaurant in it. Breakfast was set on 8th floor in a nice lounge with a view over the city, quite impresive. The apartment has its own kitchen with everything on the hand, with dresing and two bathrooms, large terase, very quiet.

An excellent facility well located for Central Berlin, walking distance to the main attractions. The staff were very helpful, all with excellent English.
It would have been 5star but for a very uncomfortable sofa which was a pity. A very helpful florist in the road opposite who loaned a vase for a bouquet.

Room Tip: A room overlooking the courtyard, quiet and two balconies.

We spent 12 nights here on our recent trip to Berlin. Although the service is limited, it is a veryt god option for a longet stay. There is an adequate kitchen for breakfast however a modern Nespresso maker would have been appreaciated over the old drip style coffee maker. We stayed in the Management Suite and asked for a courtyard room which is quieter. The room is divided into a bedroom and comined living and work area. There is a separate tub shower and toilette area. The space is well furnished and the staff are very helpfull during available office hours. Cleaning sevice was good but we never tried the breakfast service.
This is an excelllant location, walking to all of the sights and restaurants with a U Baun stop just outsdide the door.

Room Tip: Choose a Courtyard room.

Perfect for a small family or people on business. We had a 68 sqr m suite with separate bedroom and a small kitchen with dishwasher. Friendly staff good location and free use of laundry.
Bought through Hotels.com, so the character for price is based on their offer.

We stayed here for 5 nights in September while visiting our son who is living here. We really appreciated the extra space after a Russian river cruise. As others have said the pillows are lousy but the shower was wonderful with great water pressure. Stadtmitte U Bahn is at the door and supermarket and shopping a short walk away. We had two balconies and overlooked the courtyard. I used the laundry which was well equipped and detergent etc was supplied. The only thing I found lacking (apart from decent pillows) was some furniture on the balcony. I would happily stay here again and found it great value for the money.

Room Tip: Overlooking the courtyard and with a balcony

We spent two lovely weeks in a "Management Suite", overlooking a quiet inner courtyard.

It is very difficult to find any fault. The location is superb. The staff was professional, efficient and unobtrusive. The apartment was lovely, consisting of a large bedroom (yes, the pillows are a bit too soft!), a living room, a kitchenette, a bathroom (sans toilet) and a separate toilet, plus the hallway and a fairly large wardrobe. Ample space, really.

The rooms are soundproof. I am not sure about the windows though, so you might want to ask for a room on the courtyard side and on a high floor.

The kitchen is fully equipped. Actually, we missed the toaster, so we asked for it and it was delivered within half an hour. But don't expect to do any heavy duty cooking here; although there is ventilation, there is no real cooker hood. The fridge is also quite small and filled with the usual mini-bar stuff, so there is really little space for your groceries there.

There are two flat-screen TVs ( German channels plus the usual news channels in English) and two A/C units, one for each room.

The staff will gladly do groceries shopping for you at no extra cost, you just need to tell them what you want; as we like to do our own shopping, we didn't test this service. There are two supermarkets within a walking distance: Keiser's and Ulrich's (the first one is open until 24:00).

There are both Wi-Fi and Ethernet Internet connection. Internet access is free, but it's only 512 kbps, so you should pretty much forget about Youtube (you can pay for faster speeds). Also, you are supposed to renew your Internet surfing "ticket" (via webs log-in page) every 24 hours and/or after every 300 MBs of spent traffic, which is really a bit of a nuisance. And if you travel with a laptop, an iPad and two smartphones, like we did, each of which require wifi Internet access at one point or another, be prepared for a LOT of "ticketing".

Also, bear in mind that The Mandala Suites do not have a 24hrs front desk! So if you are arriving very late, or on Sunday afternoon, be sure to make special arrangement with the reception beforehand. Everything is keycard operated, including the side street enterance and the elevator, so if you find yourself on the street after midnight without without your keycard, you might have to wait until morning.

They say the breakfast is nice and the view is great from the breakfast lounge, but we didn't try that, nor did we try the gym or the laundry facilities.

All in all, we had a wonderful stay and we absolutely recommend The Mandala Suites. We will most definitely stay here again on our next trip to Berlin.

Room Tip: Inner courtyard, higher floor.
