I was staying at the Hotel on a business trip to Berlin. I did not expect a lot, because the prize is low. But i realized really good value for money there. The room was very clean, spacious and quiet. When I made the reservation, the staff asked me, what i prefer. I had a room to the back. Area is the heart of Berlin. You can meet "easy 100 nations within a few hundred meters". But also subway is only a few meters away. Receptionists gave helpfull informations, because in Berlins subway you find very often no signs inside. Breakfast was briliant, tasty and frsh. Only negative thing: you have to pay extra for special coffees like Latte. Will come back for sure.

Room Tip: will be very quiet to the back. Receptionist told me that it is sometimes "lively" when th...

The room was spacious and clean with a good working shower and a flat screen TV - mainly with German channels. You could open the windows and adjust the radiators. No air conditioning though. It was fairly quiet though you could hear corridor noise from time to time. No safe in the room, and I was a little concerned about security: you enter the hotel via a lift to the 2nd floor where you arrive at reception - you then return to the lift to your room. I was concerned that anyone could just go right up to the room without being noticed. Staff were friendly and breakfast, included in the price was excellent - sausages and scrambled eggs, cold meats, cheeses, salmon, many different breads and rolls, cereals, cakes and good coffee. The hotel is 3 minutes walk from the underground (U7 and U8) which means you can be in the city centre in 10 to 20 minutes. I would stay there again.

Everything was very nice during our stay and the price was very affordable ... although I think it was a special, last-minute rate. We especially liked the (perhaps somewhat "tacky") Christmas display outside the breakfast room's windows!

Room Tip: Requested a quiet room away from main street.

We stayed 3 nights in a triple room with our son. Rooms are fine, nothing special but not a problem either. Location is very good for access to transport around city but is quite noisy due to major street out front so try to get a room not on the front street (or just close your window). There was a good breakfast in the morning with very pleasant seating both inside and outside in a garden area. Front staff spoke english well and willing to help with anything you needed, including printing maps and boarding passes for flights.

Room Tip: Front street is noisy so keep that in mind when choosing a room.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in March 2012. The room was simple, but very large and clean. The location is very close to the U-Bahn, which made traveling throughout the city very easy. The staff was very friendly and almost everyone spoke English. The breakfast was wonderful- this was the only hotel we stayed at during our trip throughout Europe that included complimentary breakfast. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

I and my wife were i Berlin from 23th of April to 2nd of May in Ludwig Van Beethoven hotel.
Our room was a big room, confortable, calm and the shower was divided by the toilet: very nice room.
The hotel second floor is like a garden with the grass, full of flowers and also a fountain. There they prepare the breakfast: it is a great breakfast full of any kind of food: salt and sweet.
Every morning always fresh croissants , every type of bread , smoked salmon, eggs, every kind of salads , salami and cheese .
The hotel is close to u7 and u8 metro stations and close to the center (15 min from Alexanderplaz by underground).

Perfect for a comfortable stay in Berlin.
