The hotel was nice and very good value for the price.

The room was modern in an Ikea type of way and clean. There was no wall between the bathroom, which might be a bit weird depending on who you are sharing with. Not sure if it is the same in a twin room but might be advisable to check if you don't want to be watched in the shower!

My only real complaint about this hotel was the lack of air conditioning. It wasn't really hot when we were in Berlin and it was still pretty warm in our room. The hotel did provide a fan when we asked if there were any rooms with airconditioning (apparently there is not) which was okay for our stay, but if it had been really hot then it would have been uncomfortable.

The staff were really good: really professional and helpful.

The location was good also. Close to the station and also walking distance to some of the lively areas for a night out.

Room Tip: If your not comfortable being naked in front of your room-mate you may want to check whether there is a wall between the room and the bathroom.

Great value for money, clean, good breakfast , good service and we liked the unusual shower arrangements
Internet access was not so good and limited English channels on tv
Late night bar was good although person serving perhaps wasn't the happiest of people
Just across the road is a fantastic Cuban restaurant if you Francy a change....and the shoe cleaner was very therapuetic

Room Tip: Go for floor 4 rooms as its very quiet there

We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel itself is extremely close to Ostbahnhof. The room was nice but small. The shower is very powerful but there is a window between the bed and bathroom which is nice or awkward depending on who you share a room with! Fortunately the toilet is in a separate, private room.

The staff were professional and polite and helpful but not particularly friendly. One member of staff was not impressed when he had to assist us in getting the shower to work.

The room got incredibly hot and there is no air con. This made spending any amount of time here uncomfortable and sleeping difficult. The pillow was also too flat and the bed too soft.

It was nice to have a balcony to get some air.

There is also no free WiFi.

We ate here once. The food was a little in the expensive side but not too bad. The drinks however are extremely expensive! I had currywurst which was nice. My boyfriend had the schnizel. He didnt appreciate the chefs bizarre touch to the potatoes which included adding cucumber and gherkins to a creamy sauce, and putting an anchovy on the veal.

A modern hotel in a quiet street but very near Ostbahnhof so no problem to get to the centre of things. All staff spoke good English, rooms are spacious and clean, and the buffet breakfast could keep you going all day if you could eat that much first thing in the morning. Didn't like the see-through shower tube jutting into the bedroom (supposed to be trendy but it's just an intrusion - not keen on looking at plumbing when I'm in bed, and it's noisy when someone else is using it). The pillows are large, feathery and thin, but they do have extras you can get from reception.

Room rate was 230 euors but our deal was only 60 something per double room including breakfast, so do lookout for deals - excellent value.

Room Tip: Overlook the courtyard - it's quiet, though the roads around aren't noisy.

Good location - next to S-Bahn station (2 stops to Alex) or 15 min on foot. The hotel is big and has a very nice courtyard and if the weather allows you may have breakfast there, surrounded by flowers. Breakfast is reach, it includes hot and cold dishes, fruits and vegetables, desserts and there're several new items every day. If you're a coffee-lover you'll be pleased with different ways they can serve coffee. Rooms are large, well equiped and stylish. Sauna is free of charge as well as a small gym. Staff is helpful and relaxed.

Perfect place to have a good time in Berlin.
