“Perfect location, very busy hotel, bad rooms”
Reviewed November 30, 2013

This is an average hotel. Perfect location for tourist visiting Berlin, as it is just a few steps away from the public transport and it lobby you can plan your visits, buy museum card, tourist boat tickets, get information on visiting parliament district (which I all recommend, use the hotel concierge!).
However it was a bit annoying, that the hotel is very big, around 37 floors, which means, that it can take 15 minutes in the morning to get a lift from your 30 something floor to get breakfast. In the evening it's OK. There is no stairs to walk down, you have to wait for the lift.
The biggest disappointment was the room, not the size or the equipment, but the bed. It was so soft that it made my neck hurt and I got a serious headache. After I made a complaint at the service desk, they gave me another room, more expensive, which was very good. So lesson learned, they have newer rooms, with good mattresses and older rooms with bed mattresses. Be careful while making reservations.

Just a night with my sister for a business congress.
Modern hotel perfectly located in a 35th floor building in Alexanderplatz, close all the main transport links in the Berlin heart.
The service and concierge were friendly, helpful but very professional too for a fast check/in-out.
The rooms (at least that received, with a beautiful view on the city skyline) were clean and well although basically refurbished, but very very small. Besides, the bathroom is totally included in the bedroom so that you can ideally divide those ones with a curtain only: therefore you have unfortunately a very low privacy unless you are alone.
Anyhow, the breakfast was good, also very good, with a real large variety of mild/salad food, coffee and different beverage.
The price is adequate and definitively correct.
Overall, a good choice for location and quality. Recommended.

It was our our first trip to Berlin. We were amazed by the city. So huuge, but yet so cozy and warm. People are nice, restaurants and food very good. Hotel is located in the central area Alexanderplatz from where it is easy to reach the sites by foot or subway. When I am visiting a city, I like to be in a place surrounded by a lot of people, lot of places to shop and in a good hotel. And I did no mistakes by choosing Park Inn. Nice and clean rooms, interesting design of the bathroom, nice view and a very good bar downstairs. I would highly recommend it.

Very easy to spot as it is a 40 floor high-rise next to the Berlin TV Tower. Very conveniently located next to Alexanderplatz station - 30mins from Schonefeld Airport and a few minutes across the square to the hotel.
Arrived early and had no issues checking into our room. Room is small but very clean and comfortable. Lifts are very fast - need to be for a tall building.
Breakfast was excellent with many choices.
A tourist hop on-off bus stops directly outside the hotel and is an excellent starting point to discover Berlin.
I highly recommend this hotel.

First thing first, the Park Inn is very central and just across the road from the Airport TXL bus stop. Reception was friendly although I did notice that it often got busy. Room was quite small but clean and comfortable, the see through shower and lavatory can be concealed by a vanity curtain.

Breakfast was hearty although don't be late or you get a running commentary about how long you have to eat.

The downstairs bar is comfortable.

The one major downside is no free public wifi and a charge of EUR 18 per day which really is a cheapskate factor.

Impossible to lost the way to it with the vision of Berlin Tv antenna from may locations of Berlin. The hotel is nice, a big block building... maybe to many much confuse. The prices are very reasonable for a 4 stars hotel, the breakfast is high recommendable with many options, the rooms are cleaned but a bit strange with the showers connected with the rooms without a wall separat it, just a curtain. The location I wouldn't say is central because the most part of the city atractions are a bit far way, but is located in Alexanderplatz. Just a negative point, the hotel doesn't have wireless free which is very uncom nowdays, more when we are talking a 4 stars category and to have acess to wireless the hotel charge a fare per day around 18€ unbelivable.
