The hotel as other reviews state looks down over the square. The rooms are nice, reasonable size (for 2) beds were very comfortable and the room cleaned every day of out visit.
Yes the shower is surrounded by clear glass but this really isnt an issue. The shower itself is fantastic !!
We had breakfast paid as part of our room rate - to be honest it wasnt really up to much. There are many small cafes etc in the area so would suggest going elsewhere.

Staff were very helpful no issues at all

Transport links to the rest of the city are superb from here

All in all a great city break in a reasonable hotel

Was a great location with a fantastic view from our room! I agree with comments on here about the bathroom, which was a bit strange. We didn't like the see through door in the toilet which wouldn't close properley. The staff were mostly helpful in all areas of the hotel and room service.

However, firstly we were disappointed with the Roof top terrace and bar, which we were charged 3 Euros each!. There were only a few metal chairs outside in the freezing cold. Nothing like the advertised images in the hotel! secondly. I thought the charges to use the lobby pc and internet was extautionate! Finally I would have expected a 4 star hotel room to include facilities to make hot drinks.

Overall we had a good stay at the Park Inn but believe quaility of our room and hotel facilities could have been better.

We stayed here at the beginning of February 2013 for 5 nights. We arrived from London at 8am in the morning so were very tired after not sleeping for more than an hour the night before. We were checked in and went to the room to have a relax and quick nap, however on arrival we noticed the toilet was filthy with urine all over the seat! (if they had forgotten to clean the toilet what else had been untouched since departure of previous guests?!) I rang down to reception to register my concern and shortly was greeted at the door by a housekeeper who came in, scrubbed the seat with the toilet brush ( no cleaning products such as bleach or antibacterial were used) and left. I would have expected them to ensure they made sure everything was completely disenfected after us being greeted with someone elses urine all over the seat! I rang again down to reception to notify them that i was not at all happy, especially as i was tired and wanted to rest, to which they left me waiting for 20 minutes before someone finally rang back to say if i went back down the 29 floors to reception i could change rooms! Again, i would expect someone to offer to help us move or take us to our next room instead of putting the onus on us to remedy their mistake! we were highly inconvenienced and this seemed completely unapparent to any of the staff and there was zero service recovery tactics. Finally we got to our next room which was clean (ish- floors were dusty and hairs in the bed) but by this point i had lost all energy to raise concern. The rooms are very out of date, unstylish, the bathroom (if you can call it that) is ridiciulous with only one door for both the shower and toilet! Luckily i was staying with my partner but the bathroom does not afford you any privacy should you be staying with someone you are not so close to. The TV didnt work which didnt matter as we were out of the hotel mostly but the room was missing basic ammenities such as tea/coffee, iron, ironing board etc.
We wouldnt stay again and looking back i should have taken my experience from the first hour after arrival and moved hotels.

This hotel ticked all our boxes at first there was an issue with the room I booked but the staff cleared it up quite quickly , it's right in the heart of all the places we wanted to go see and do, also some lovely restaurants nearby and tons of shops and shopping centres and when the weather is nice its on a square so there are lots to see in the way of street performers and a great atmosphere, our room was up quite high so the view was good it was extra to stay on the other side of the hotel because view was meant to be better but we didn't see the point the rooms were very nice and everywhere was spotless the lifts were out this world I've never see lifts to go so quick which made a big difference as we were up so high anyhow this is a great hotel and would recommend highly

Perfect location in the city center, many shopping centers around, the underground is just outside the hotel doors, train station and city-tour bus stops too.

The stuff was generally helpful, rooms were cleaned every day. Breakfast was spectacular, with great variety.

Strange arrangement of toilet in the room, almost no privacy - door is thin with gaps.

Just spent 4 days here. Best thing about this hotel is location. The staff were super helpful , nothing was too much trouble. Room was spotless , bathroom a little strange , but also quirky. I would definitely recommend this hotel as the location alone sells it . Would definitely return !

We have just returned from a 4 day break to Berlin & were not disappointed by what the city had to offer or how welcoming the people were. We stayed at the Park Inn Raddisson in Alexanderplatz located in the Eastern part of Berlin, this location had great transport links only 20 minutes from the airport & easy access to both shops & restaurants. In fact we were overwhelmed by the number of shopping centres and seemed to stumble on yet more as we turned another corner. The hotel is a typical large chain hotel which catered for our needs, comfortable, clean and central! Our only small points are there were no tea making facilities ( did have a mini bar & were able to get a takeaway coffee in surrounding cafes) and as previously commented on the bathroom is in open to the bedroom and you need to have a very relaxed relationship with your travelling partner as the toilet is seperated from the rest of the room by frosted glass panel!!Breakfast was excellent catered for all tastes and we found the staff in the hotel very professional and helpful. As with most european cities public transport is reasonable, regular and on time! We visited the majority of the tourist attractions and found the history and architecture of Berlin both old and new facsinating.TIP-If you intend to visit Reichstag building you need to book in advance a day/time slot & also need id (passport/driving licence). The booking office is located opposite the Reichstag and your visit is free. Hackescher Markt just north of Alexanderplatz and found the shops to be more individual and good restaurants/bars scattered around this area. Lots of regeneration in the Eastern side of the city but this didnt effect our visit. Another recommended visit is to the Jewish Museum which is to the south, this is both moving and thought provoking and its architecture tells its own story. Berlin was a fantastic city break and we will visit again as we didnt see everything!!
