What a great hotel. At the heart of a very busy area and with fantastic views of the city. It was very clean, convenient and the staff were more than willing to answer any queries/act as tour guides whenever needed! Close to tram lines and right beside the Alexanderplatz train station, it is surrounded by cool eateries and bars and the perfect starting point for discovering Berlin. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.

We picked this hotel for it's location as it was within easy walking distance from the railway station and therefore we were able to get the train from the airport and back cheaply,3.10 euros each way. It is a very big hotel situated very near the famous TV Tower. Cannot comment on the restaurants in the hotel as we ate out. Rooms were very comfortable. Modern fittings, nice bedding and towels and a fantastic rain shower. Most unusual was the fact that the shower and sink area were in the bedroom, which could be made more private by the curtain that could be drawn around to give more privacy. The WC was in a cubicle separated by an opaque glass panel, which you could still see through! All very luxurious but seemed a strange set up to us. The room was very warm and this was the only downside apart from the bathroom set up. Plenty to see and do around this area and would recommend the hotel to all tourists visiting Berlin.

Stayed in this hotel for 9 days. Hotel in center of Alexanderplatz, thought this area was a bit scruffy and untidy. Within 2 minutes of checking in at front desk, we had a very confused receptionist who was not aware of our booking and thought it was November we were arriving, although our booking was 15th September!! Room on 34th floor was quite small and the layout of the shower/toilet was very weird as there was only 1 door to be shared between the 2. So when one person was in the shower the other person had to use the toilet without a door or vice versa! View was amazing from 34th floor. Everyday our room was cleaned immaculately, great job. After a couple of days we found the trendy area of Hackesher Market and if visiting Berlin again this is where we would stay.

Stayed for one night as part of coach tour as in the title it is a tall hotel and the room had a great view of tele vision tower and town hall. As others have mentioned the toilet/shower door set up is strange the architect who designed it must of thought it was a great idea at the time. The food is buffet for dinner and breakfast which is very good and a wide choice. The hotel is close to a station and shops/bars and places to see The only down side was our own fault at dinner had two beers and got chatting to fellow guests and forgot to pay for the drinks and started walking out of restuarant when the elderly waiter came up to us and was quite aggresive even after apologising for our error but would stay here again.

Room Tip: get a high room it is worth the ride in the lift

Stayed for 3 nights. Had a room on 30th floor with an amazing view. The rooms are very modern, nicely decorated and clean. The frosted glass shower and loo compartments take alittle getting used to! All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant was lovely, both at breakfast and at the buffet in the evenings. Would definately stay again.
Also liked the Galleria shop just outside the hotel!
The Dom (cathedral) is well worth a visit. 7 euros well spent!

Stayed here end of August for 2 nights. We had 2 separate rooms. Rooms were comfortable but the heat/cool adjustments impossible to get to work right. Interesting design concept where shower, toilet, room are just one with glass partitions in between. Overall good but a bit overpriced for Berlin. Great location right on Alexanderplatz. Internet was excessively overpriced as well.
