You need at least a half day to see the beautiful gardens here. I really loved the beautiful plants and flowers from all over the world. The design is really nice, and the long ride to get there is totally worth it. I biked there with friends and loved every moment of it.

Garten der Welt was easy to get to by S-Bahn and bus and the gardens were beautiful. The service at the restaurant where we had lunch (not the Chinese pavilion) was exceptionally slow, but it was a nice day so not too troubling. Our favorites were the oriental, chinese and japanese gardens, so if I go there again I would probably start with those as it can take a while to get around if you plan on seeing them all.

It's a nice outing that also takes you out of the city to see some of the "ordinary" Berlin.

No one can ignore this beauty. This spacious park is almost one square Kilometer of green, natural area. You actually leap from Japan to Korea in a few steps.

And still it shouldn't be a top-of-the-list attraction. Visit Garten Der Welt only if you have spare time and you have visited every other main attraction in Berlin.

You can get a small discount if you are holding a Berlin Welcome Card.

This place is just magic! You completely forget you are still in Berlin. They have an oriental garden, brought me right back to Morocco, super! In the Chinese garden you can choose a delicious tea from their huge tea menu, or a snack or refreshing juice, and enjoy the view of the lake in a chinese palace! I really liked that kids (and adults) are allowed to play with/in all the fountains and water features around the park, and there were no signs telling you not to step on the grass, etc. Great place to walk around and explore, relax in the sun, jogging, picknik, etc.

I think the title says it all. This is definitely a MUST place to visit if you are in Berlin. It's situated on the outskirts of Berlin, but all the effort required to reach there would definitely be worth in the end! Here are some highlights:
1. Situated 2 Kms from Cottbuss Platz (U5), you can easily take bus 195 and it is just 4 stops from there.
2. Very cheap entry ticket, 3€ per person.
3. Amazing picnic place for family and friends where one can easily and happily spend the entire day.
4. The restaurants inside are relatively expensive, so my suggestion would be to take along something to eat and drink.
5. Be prepared that you will have to walk a lot!
6. There are around 8 or 9 different sorts of gardens including Chinese Garden, Japanese Garden, Asiatic Garden, etc and apart from that there is an amazing labyrinth (maze) that you should definitely not miss!
7. There are bathroom facilities and sitting facilities all over and overall it is quite convenient for everyone to visit there.
