Fleischerei is a fairly new restaurant on the Prenzburger Allee in a converted Chemist's shop that retains East German white tiling. Sitting at scrubbed wooden tables for lunch, it felt like a worker's canteen, but the food was good and the prices reasonable. Despite the name not all dishes are built around meat, and there's an excellent value two course option of starter/main or main/dessert. Service was helpful and friendly to a fairly large party with a mix of German and non-German speakers.
