I don't really get the glowing reviews on here. This is a little German style bistro, could be lovely but it's seen better days. The radio was on full blast & didnt exactly add to the ambience, blaring adverts & 80s pop. I had meat dumplings that were cold in the middle. The chipped potatoes tasted like they'd been cooked in old oil. I wouldn't recommend.

This café/restaurant is located just a step from the Berliner Dom and offers great service and good food in a charmingly decorated café with terrace. It is well worth the short walk from the hustle and bustle of the cathedral to enjoy its charm.

Found this hidden place thanks to tripadvisor amazing offline city guide and nice fair reviews.
Fantastic food and beers, traditional german experience, friendly staff, well priced and meals range from 7-13 euros, great settings!!! Would easily recommend and come back here!!

This small cafe / restaurant is a small gem. We found this while walking around looking for a place to have coffee and found this place. It has a old Berlin charm, I love so much. They have very good home made cake and very good German style food, many home made soups which are just more than yummy, they are just delicious and we can only recommend this place and food. It is small but does brighten your day on a rainy and cloudy Berlin visit.
We can only highly recommend it.

The area's a bit of a twilight zone: but nevertheless loved our tasty lentil & sausage soup and schnitzel with baked potato and soured cream. The kitsch interior and old soaks in the corner only added to the charm. Topped off by super service from a really friendly young guy and good value for money.
