Went on short break for husbands 50th Birthday. Fantastic hotel, stayed in business club room, lovely view of berlin cathedral and river. Breakfast very good lots of choice. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Business class rooms worth extra cost.

Very good stay. Great location, close the main attractions. Friendly service and delicious breakfast with plenty of choice. The spa is worth a visit although not very big. There are a couple of nice restaurants next to it (The Italian is really good) My room was very comfortable overlooking the Cathedral.

Stayed here for business. Checked in extremely early - 9:00 AM on a Sunday. They still game me a room. You normally have a choice of internal facing (aquarium facing) or external facing. Aquarium wasn't available at the time of my check in which was fine considering how early it was.

The aquarium is awesome. Really impressive. There is a scuba diver in there daily, cleaning the walls. Pretty cool.

I found the staff very pleasant and helpful, with a few exceptions. Breakfast was good - I don't think it was all that awesome like other reviews indicated, but I liked it. Drinks are expensive. Ate at Heat, the restaurant off the lobby, and the food was good - above average but not incredible. Had pizza - wood stove oven cooked and good.

I'd stay here again. Pleasant stay. Rooms were clean, small, and sufficient. Nothing great but certainly above average considering other hotels I've stayed in while in Europe. Bathroom drain was slow which was annoying. Not the end of the world though.

Also worked out in their gym. Small pool and good gym. Above average.

Aquarium is impressive and the biggest reason to stay here.

Me and my girlfriend stayed at the Raddison Blu for two nights from 26th to 28th January. I got a fantastic deal through expedia which including breakfast and the Aquarium in the lobby swayed the deal for me. I was looking forward to staying at this hotel but I was a bit wary as not all the reports on Tripadvisor had been fantastic. We arrived at the hotel at around 11:30pm. The first thing you notice is the Aquarium which really is a sight to behold! It is absolutely huge and the photos do not do it justice. The lady on check in was very helpful and said we would be able to check in early. She gave us the choice between a room facing the cathedral or a room facing the Aquarium. We went for the Aquarium as this is not something you tend to see in many hotels! We were on the sixth floor and this gave us a fantastic view of the aquarium and the lobby. The room was great, I have stayed in better but paid a lot more. Bathroom wasn’t anything out of this world but did the job. I liked the idea of the Balcony, on a night when I was waiting for my girlfriend to get ready I would sit there and watch the fish and the hustle and bustle of the lobby. We had a few drinks in the bar before heading out and the service and drinks were fantastic, they were a little pricey compared to other prices we paid when we were there (26 euros for two cocktails) but the view of the Aquarium definitely justifies this. The bed was very comfy and the rooms were quiet, we didn’t hear any outside noise. Breakfast was very good, lots of choice both hot and cold and omelettes, waffles and fried eggs were made to order. We visited the swimming pool and spa once and it is a little underwhelming, not a fan of having to go nude in the sauna or steam room either so we didn’t bother. The location is great, you can turn left out the hotel and head to Alexanderplatz or turn right and Museum Island and Unter Der Linden are just a short walk away! I would definitely return!

Room Tip: Ask for a room high up facing the Aquarium in order to get the best view!

Spent three lovely nights in the Radisson Blu Berlin. Superb stay. Staff were so helpful, friendly and welcoming. They really couldn't of been any more professional. Beds are fantastic and so is breakfast.
Drinks are a little bit pricey in the Bar.

Clean and beautiful.

Fantastic stay, very positive

Room Tip: Any room on the sixth floor. Our room was fantastic.

Spent 3 nights at this hotel with my family. It was a very enjoyable stay. There was a small problem with the lifts. The room, breakfast, and drinks in the hotel were first class. we also had an evening meal in the restaurant which was very good the surroundings and the food were what would be as expected in a 5 star hotel.
When we return to Berlin we will certaintly stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel again.

Room Tip: Choose the river view with the balcony.

I stayed at this hotel in August 2012. The staff were really friendly and helpful on arrival. Our room was superb and we also had the choice on arrival of an inside (aquarium and hotel lobby) or an outside view. We went with the outside view and had an amazing view of the Cathedral Dom Berlin!! The room was comfortable, clean and everything what we paid for. Our booking didn't include breakfast ( there are coffee shops very close outside which are extremely cheaper). We ate in the Restaurant Heat one evening inside the hotel . We used the hotels spa and swimming pool which was great for us to wind down after a long day sightseeing. The weather was nice meaning we were able to sit outside and the food was delicious. The hotel was in a great location for all transport. We jumped on the train from the airport to the hotels nearby train station.
Overall - great stay and would go back.
