My recent stay at Radisson Blu, Berlin, did not fullfill my expectations for a 5 star hotel. On arrival we were met by a very friendly member of staff and check in went smoothly. Unfortunately there were no non-smoking rooms available but we were upgraded to a business room - smoking floor. The room was fine and the view to the Berliner Dom was very nice. There was a Nespresso coffe maker but no posibility for making a cup of tea in the room. The bed was rock hard and not very comfy. The bathroom was very nice and lots of complimentary showergel, shampoo and body lotion. There is free Wi-Fi in the room but the problem is that you have to sit right behind the door or on the toilet to be connected. As soon as you are in the room there is no connection.
During our stay the lifts were out of order on several occations.
Breakfast is quite nice but not worth 25 Euros per day.
There is a nice lobby with view to the Aqua Dome.
All in all a nice stay but definately not a 5 star hotel.More
