Don't think it twice. I don't think you can get a better hotel while in Berlin.

Here a few reasons why:
- location. just by the river, the cathedral and museum island. And, many restaurant options.
- walking distance to alexander platz.
- in front of several bus/tram stops.
- very nice staff.
- breakfast buffet was really good and for a good price (we got it with the hotel reservation).
- great price for this high-end hotel.
- big enough rooms. Very new and clean.
- the aquarium inside the hotel! They were nice enough to ask whether we wanted and outside view (which could be very nice with the cathedral, river or TV tower) or the inside one. The aquarium is really unique so we picked inside, highly recommended option :-) This aquarium is one of the attractions of Berlin so it's quite nice to have it in front of your room balcony!

This was our first time in Berlin and we really enjoyed it. Don't forget to get your Welcome Card at the airport!!

Just stayed at the Radisson with my 16 year old granddaughter as a treat for her. The cylindrical tropical fish tank in the foyer was definitely a wow factor for her. We were given a choice of rooms, with either an internal or external view, my granddaughter wanted to overlook the foyer so we chose the internal view. Our room was on the 4th floor with a fabulous view of the fish tank and she was thrilled the next morning when she saw divers swimming with the fish. The wi-fi in the hotel was really useful for Facebook updates!
Breakfast was very impressive and catered for all needs. Bacon, sausages, cereal, fresh fruit, yogurts, lovely cheeses and hams also the chef cooked omelettes and waffles on request.
The Hotel is by the River Spree and Cathedral and easy walking distance to many of the highlights of Berlin. It is close to bars, cafes and restaurants as well as local shops. The bus and tram stop is just a short walk from the hotel and very convenient for travel.
The staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would go back anytime.
The staff were every friendly

The location of the hotel, just next to the Museum Island and the Berlin Dom and in walking distance of many of Berlin's main attractions, is just great. Access to public transport is also perfect, with many of the key bus lines (100, 200, TXL) passing in front of the hotel and U-line station Hackescher Markt just a few minutes away.
The hotel atrium with the huge aquarium and the glass elevators is an eye catcher, but the hotel is much more than that. The rooms are nicely decorated and have comfortable beds. Rooms are sound proof and can be darkened almost completely, guaranteeing a good sleep. They are all equipped with a locker.
Breakfast was a delight: a buffet with excellent choice, preparation of eggs and waffles while you wait, and prime Service (enough personnel, so tables get cleaned right away). I enjoyed their Darjeeling Tea - this hotel knows how to serve a good tea.
Concierge Service was also very helpful: tips for getting around, tickets, help with printing your boarding passes, etc. And everything with a smile.

We stayed here for a long romantic weekend and had a great time.
This hotel has the most impressive lobby ever, a very large cillindric fish tank!
The rooms are clean, the bed was comfortable.
The location was great, the TV tower is a stone throw away.
You cannot fault this hotel, everything was spot on; I would definetely recommend it.

The Radisson Blu hotel in Berlin is located next to the Berlin Cathedral and is virtually on museum island and is walking distance from the TV Tower and Brandenburg Gate. There are a number of bars and restaurants in a covered road, the Heiligegeistgasse, just to the left of the hotel and many more a little further afield. The bus stop is about 200 yards away and the Alexander Plaz underground station is also within an easy walk..
Impeccably clean, the lobby is modern with glass lifts and a bar area. Dominating this area, the gigantic fish tank, a tourist attraction in its own right, projects upward 5 stories from the center of the space giving a fantastic first impression.
Staff are friendly, very helpful and if you are early for check-in will hold your bags allowing you to explore without dragging your luggage with you. The concierge is polite and has a great knowledge of the area and its attractions. They can assist with bookings and helped us by booking lunch at the TVtower revolving restaurant.
Breakfast is an extensive buffet covering almost every breakfast combination imaginable. It is served in the lobby and the restaurant facing the cathedral though if not included with the room it is a little expensive.
Drinks in the lobby bar are also expensive though not extortionately so.
We booked through expedia with an upgrade to business class rooms that included the breakfast and cathedral view. Rooms facing the lobby have a fantastic view of the fish tank but no access to natural light.
Our room was clean and tidy with all of the creature comforts expected from a Radisson hotel and had the added nicety of mini jelly fish provided when the room was serviced. The bathroom was spacious and the bed was comfortable although some double beds are in fact 2 smaller beds pushed together.
In all this hotel is a great starting point for an exploration of Berlin, its beer and culture.

Room Tip: Business rooms overlook the Cathedral

Although I had some issues when I first arrived they were dealt with superbly - establishments get things wrong, but rarely, can they reverse it......Radisson Blu, Berlin has the unique ability to do JUST that!

Last night I was sat outside overlooking the River eating a fantastic Steak, cooked to perfection - The service given by the waiter was 1st Class!

I will certainly be back and believe it will be 100% perfect next time.(Well......as near as it can be!).  Also, I wish every Hotel had the One Touch Service facility - Faultless!

Room Tip: Choose Room 4203 for a great view across the River to the Cathedral!
