This is as appropriately Japanese as it gets in Berlin: a 15 square m2 restaurant with food that is also transformed with as much care and economy of means. Wholeheartedly recommend you take the cook's suggested menu of sushi (the crafted house roll) and the sashimi (we had a selection of shade fish, salmon, and sea bass) with two 'tapas' of choice (we had delicious duck and the 'Nabe' cooking pot with earthy sweet sesame sauce). This really was a beautiful little feast to devour and to appreciate the wabi (rustic simplicity), the sabi (beautiful serenity) ...the raw and the cooked.
And not to forget that the service is delightful. We have been returning here over the last couple of years and will be back again.
