Went as part of wowcherdeal. This this is our opinion
1. Had a few conversations with reception staff, they spoke good English, were helpful, friendly and organized early morning taxi to airport
2. Room was modern, spacious and clean. Bathroom could do with a little updating but was clean. Some of the pillows could do with being replaced
3. Whilst hotel is not central it is easy to get to on m6 tram from Alexander platz. Journey takes about 25 minutes and walk to hotel from tram stop is less than 5 minutes
4. Whilst you don't get tea or coffee making facilities we benefited from using IKEA restaurant 5 minutes walk away. Good for meals and drinks 9am to 8pm, Monday to Saturday.co
If you get a good price we would recommend this

This hotel is ok if all you want is somewhere clean to sleep. It’s too far away from the centre. There are no bars or restaurants so on our first night we were starving as had no idea due to unhelpful reception staff where to get anything to eat. The next day it cost us 25 euros to get into the city. We then discovered the tram via the tourist information in Alexander plaza. Buy a welcome ticket for 2 days which gives you 2 days travel and discounts on most attractions. The tram we found out is a 2 min walk from the hotel on the m6 tram line. Rhinstart allee. Go to the end of the line for great restaurants and bars at hachenster mkt.

It was a decent couple of nights stay.

We hadn’t actually purchased a room here, it was given to us in one of those surprise holiday packages, after seeing reviews and images we weren’t looking forward to it that much, however we were pleasantly surprised.

Ignoring the dated looking building, the room was very modern and really clean, minimal noise from the outside and corridors which is always great.

Never tried food or drinks at the hotel as we were only in Berlin a short while and didn’t have time to stay at the hotel overnight.

Decent location right next to a tram stop and they run every 20 minutes or so.

Recommended for a cheap couple of nights in a clean room with good transport close by.

I visited this hotel for 3 nights as part of the wowcher deal and must say I was pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious and clean, the beds comfy and pretty quiet on a night. It was around a 30-minute tram ride out of the centre but me and my partner bought the Berlin Welcome Card on arrival for free transport during our visit, would recommend. We used local transport also to get too and from the airport and took around 40 minutes. I would recommend downloading the S-Bahn Berlin app to assist with travel as a lot of the landmarks are spread out and so requires buses/trams to get between them all. Again this was all included in the welcome card so we didn't need to pay. The only downside was the water in the room was sparkling, a fact I didn't realise until I opened it and then had to pay for. Buying bottles of water/coke was also very expensive in the hotel at 3.5 euro each. Most of the staff were very pleasant and helpful with the exception of one guy who was wearing a jumper as opposed to the uniform everyone else wore (maybe the manager?) who when I asked how to get to the airport said I don't know and sent me away. Despite this I was pleased with the hotel, not expecting much to start with.
