I travelled with my husband and 17 year old daughter, who will be doing her final exam in German next year, to Berlin for one week. I felt by going to Berlin, it would make the language fmore interesting for her. I have a disability, with limited mobility. I had to bring my 'battery scooter' to Germany with me. The Hotel did not have a vacant 'disabled room' the first night, but did for the other 6 nights, so we stayed in a 3- bedroomed room first night. For the other 6 nights, they kindly gave us the 'disabled room' and left us keep 3-bedroomed room. Disabled room very accessible. The rooms were big and beautiful. A lovely big breakfast every morning. We looked for an Iron and Kettle and were given them without any charge. Anne. Rep. Ireland

It was the first time I've been in Berlin and I ordered a single room on this hotel after checking the net. I really scared that the hotel will be far and look bad, because it was very cheep but It was exactly as I hoped it will be. The hotel is great. I got a very nice room, including bed, TV and a bathroom. I've got the highest floor and got a great view from there over the east side of Berlin.

The hotel is located about 25 minutes by TRAM (M6) from Alexanderplatz. First, It looked to me very far, but accually it's a very good place and it is very easy to get from it to anywhere. There's another TRAM to get easy to and from Schonfeld airport.

They have a great service and it is acually one hotel on a net of hotels. The breakfast was also very good with buffet. If I ever be in Berlin again I guess I'll go there again.

Comfort Inn Berlin Lichtenberg is an OK hotel for the budget traveller. The rooms are small and with a bed, chair and TV. Front desk is helpful and breakfast is a nice buffet with plenty of items. Beware - the hotel is located in a suburb about 20 min tramdrive from Alexander Platz, but with tram M6 and a "Go as you please" card. 20 Euro for 72 hours that isn't a problem. There is no Imbiss-stube, no restaurant or anything else near the hotel, so you have to depend on the hotel or the tram. We had fun playing bowling, with is in the hotel building.
