I've got a two-fold impressions about this place. During the first visit we found one free table and had a good dinner with a great value. The place was full of locals, the atmoshpere was a very relaxing and democratic one, may be a bit noisy for those who want to stay in quiet place, but this is smth. I like. The food was a real German one with big portions and well prepared different types of meats. It was very tasty, although I can be subjective cause I really like German cuisine. The prices are very afforadble -the main course dishes (meat/fish with garnish) cost around 9 - 12 euro, but one such dish is enough to get full. A 0.4 glass of bear is around 3 euro. So,I can say the value of the meal was really good.
However, the service can be much better. If during the first visit it was more or less OK (average), during the second visit the restaurant was booked at almost 100% for an event. When we asked for a table we were told (quite rude) that there are no free tables (although at that moment the restaurant was absolutely empty). We were proposed to eat at the bar or at the table (a very narrow one, almost like a bar) just next to the door. I don't want to describe the conversation with the waitresses but they were really rude.
I have doubts whether to recommend this restaurant or not. Read my description and make your own decision.
