We booked the hotel through Lastminute.com, and were told by lastminute that breakfast was included, when we arrived it turned out that it wasn't included in our booking; however the staff were extremely efficient in sorting this out, always smiling and never making us feel embarrassed.
We were very pleased this got sorted as the breakfast was delicious with a large selection of bread, pastries, cold meats, fruit and lovely hot breakfast.
Our room was spacious and clean, and our twin beds were very comfortable and huge so it didn't actually feel like you were sleeping in a single bed.
The room had everything you needed in it and the minibar was quite well priced.
The bar was very comfortable, with huge sofas, it was again very well priced with cocktails being our particular favourite.
The location was close to tourist attractions and also some beautiful neighborhoods, which are worth exploring if you like the sound of cosy little bars and restaurants Berlin is full of hidden gems,we walked most places which is also the best way to explore Berlin, however the hotel is only about 2 mins walk from the nearest U-Bain.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Berlin and in Tryp, the staff really are a tribute to the hotel. We will be recommending Berlin and Tryp to all our friends.

Recently stayed here. Found it quite simple to find from the airport. Use the S-Bahn from the airport to Friedrichsrassen and then the U-Bahn to Naturkunde Museum and it is literally 2 minutes walk. Make sure you come out the right end!

Anyway we arrived early at 1100am hoping to check in and luckily they had a room for us, we were delighted. The hotel is lovely as soon as you walk in, great atmosphere and super friendly staff. We were given our key and heading to our room, upon exiting the lift we were greeted with a HUGE piece of graffiti inside the hotel grounds. These has been created for the hotel also!

Entered the room and was spotless, nice bathroom, large double bed, mini bar, tv, air con the works.

Shower was really good. The place was spotless.

Free wifi in the reception!

Only two smallish problems:

No free wifi in the room. Also no english TV other than BBC News, so nothing to chill out to. Shame really, it would be ideal to add some more channels as I don't speak German.

I stayed in this hotel with 2 other friends on a weekend trip to Berlin. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, located in a quieter area of the city but other than that we couldn't fault it, staff were helpful and rooms were comfortable- we had a family room with bunk beds. We had breakfast one morning (€17) average quality and lots of food choice. We had few drinks at the bar before going out, cocktails were tasty and well priced - definitely recommend. We also had dinner at a near by Italian restaurant called Bonfini which we recommend for steak and pizza.

Our room was available upon arrival, rather than having to wait for check-in, which was a blessing. The reception and bar staff were friendly enough. The room and communal areas were spotlessly clean and with modern décor. Oh, and I had a really comfortable night's sleep. Although did get woken one morning by a very loud banging in the hall way - no idea what that was! The thing I found a bit weird was not being able to get a tea/coffee at midnight when we came back cold and wet from an evening out - being told 'no' point blank at reception, no bar or room service at that time, or facilities in the room. For the price I would've expected a kettle, if not full B&B. So, functional and clean yes. But nothing beyond that.

Room Tip: Not street side much quieter - i.e., silent!. Smoking rooms are available but be prepared for the smokey smell.

Stayed here whilst attending a wedding. Cheap, modern and simple. Nice breakfast and a simple walk away from all the attractions that mattered. Had a great time - would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
