Located about an hour by train from Shoenefeld Airport.
Very close (5 min walk) to either Birkenstrasse or Westhafen train stations giving easy access into most parts of town. It's also possible to walk to The Brandenburg Gate from the hotel, which took us about an hour.
The Best Western is entered by a surprisingly unassuming street side doorway (photo). However, this hotel shows its true size when the lift doors open on the 2nd floor. The reception area is situated within a spacious central atrium overlooked by many of the rooms (photo). There is a comfortable bar and restaurant. Breakfast was an expensive addition, so we chose to eat within the huge supermarket adjoining the hotel (opens 7am) which has its own restaurant serving all day snacks. There is also a superb large Asian restaurant next to the hotel for lunchtime or evening dining. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided, and 24 hr WiFi was available free of charge. We would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the atrium may be a little claustrophobic for some (photo). In this case, choose a...

The rooms was great. It was clean and quiet with a great bathroom. The breakfast was good and the dinner was too. The hotel is placed not in center of Berlin but there where only 200 meters to the nearest subway station. The parking is almost right next to the reception, so to speak. We had 3 wonderful days i Berlin and would gladly come again.

The property is clean, and everything works just fine. The reception stuff is very helpful.
But breakfast isn't so great. There are only two vegetables for breakfast: tomatos and cucumbers, no salads or thing like that - not much as for 4 star hotel.

Nice modern hotel. Pretty OK location. 2 very disappointing experiences though...
- Very understaffed reception for such large hotel, which meant long waiting time for receiving help. The receptionist girl was not very helpful, only after asking several times, and involving several other hotel guests, we got proper help for something very simple. This made us feel NOT very welcome.
- Another very disappointing fact was the extra bed. We were three adults sharing a room. For 25 euro extra/night for an extra bed we got a hard children bed (a hard box), which was way too short for any adult, with a hard wooden frame. This should be somehow specified or at least a warning upon booking is in place.
- It was too hot to sleep. The rooms that have windows towards reception lack the possibility to let in fresh air.

A friend and I visited Moa Berlin for 3 days, and it was very obvious that this hotel is in the high end of Best Westerns hotels.

Moa Berlin really lives up to it's 4 stars. This includes the restaurant, where we had both breakfast buffet and 3 course dinner.
It's a beautifully decorated hotel, which has a great location, and a staff that is extremely serviceminded. Everybody - including the cleaning staff - speaks English, and they will accomodate your every need.

I will recommend this hotel to everyone who wants comfort and luxury.

Only one negative experience while staying at the hotel: the 3 course dinner which where included in the stay: the main course was awfull!! Starter and dessert was fine. Breakfast was lovely. Nice location because there is a metro 2 minutes walk from the hotel.

I've stayed here several times over the last 18 months, and must say the hotel has improved quite a bit in terms of service. It shows that the staff are now well used to their routine.

The beds are still an issue: why is it necessary to have two small beds pressed together with two completely inadequately sized comforters on top and call this a Queen? Please provide at least a large blanket so your guest can be warm at night!

Other than this, no issues at all. Early check-in is available when possible; if not they'll happily keep your luggage for you. The bathroom is large and convenient, with great hot water in the shower; the staff are all friendly, the hotel is in a convenient location, etc. I have yet to eat at the hotel restaurant as there are several convenient choices in the neighborhood at a fraction of the price.
