My friends and I only had two full days to see Berlin, but we do not regret one bit making this one of our priorities to see. So fascinating and historically rich, and makes for some great pictures, too.

A great place to visit to really get an impression of the impact of the wall. Some great pieces of art work.

This was fun to walk around. Go really early in the day. I went around 8am and there were not many people around. There was great back lighting and easy to take video of the art work. Walked back to my hotel around 1500 and there were tons of people around and the wall ha a lot of shading on artwork.

This gallery is on a street adjacent to the original Berlin Wall, with a section of the Wall still standing. It runs for a few city blocks, but the Wall itself is decorated with panels of all sorts of street art. This is an international gallery of all different artists who wanted to express their feelings directly onto this memorial of history. This, too, is a MUST SEE!

We arrived by metro and the Gallery is "just there", no entrance fees, lots of local folks coming and going to work and beautiful (and some less beautiful) street art. A great monument to the impact of art.
