“Great Artwork”
Reviewed February 14, 2013

This is one of the longest remaining sections of the Berlin Wall and it has over 100 pieces of thought provoking art along it's length and it's free. Well worth a visit.

“Inspirational”

One of the few jaw dropping sights of Berlin ! Especially for cold war history buffs, just standing there and admiring the explosive and lively colors of what used to be a symbol of separation and death !

“Very interesting and fun.”

As only Berlin can do, East Side Gallery blends a sad history with eye catching art work. It incorporates images, political statements, humor and the underlining sadness that is a part of Berlin.

“Lasting expression of freedom”
Reviewed February 10, 2013

It's a free open air art gallery and the longest remaining section of the Berlin wall. It's to bad people have been vandalizing the art but it's worth seeing this site. I suggest that you check it out, rent a bike and cruise down to the East Side Gallery.

“Interesting, colourful”
Reviewed February 10, 2013 via mobile

The main thing i will take away from my trip to Berlin is the amount of street art in the cit from tags to 50 ft high pieces, its a graffiti artist's mecca. The wall is cool and should inspire you to seek out more art across the city.. if you go in summer theres also a reggae-vibes beach cafe at the end of the wall, which looks dope, we went in Feb so was deserted but in summer id like to think ir would be buzzing. doesnt cost you a penny, going to see this is a no-brainer.
