The falafel here is not the cheapest but it is the very best. Take a meal with you when you go for a walk along the east side gallery! You will be pleasantly surprised.

“Delicious vegetarian food!”
Reviewed November 2, 2011

Mamo Falafel is along the main road, not far from the rest of the Berlin wall.
The food is really excellent, and the falafels are amazing.
You can get four big falafels in a pitta bread and then you can fill the rest with the mixed salads and sauces.
There is not that much place to sit inside, there are a plenty of picnic tables outside though. You can also get food to go. They do drinks too.

“Fresh and cheap - great falafel”
Reviewed August 27, 2011

One of the better falafel options in Berlin, of which they are many. I visited twice and had both the regular falafel in pitta (about €3) and the large falafel box (about €5). Basically, falafels are cooked to order and once they are done, you fill up either you pitta or box with self-service salads including pickles, tomatoes, shredded cabbage and various sauces. The pittas are a little on the small side but still good value for €3.
