Right in the middle of our check-in procedure, the desk-clerk took a telephone-call, talked for about 2 minutes; letting us wait like pupils for the school bus.
As I told him my disappointment about that fact, he got rid of us; not telling us important things like the wifi-code.
Thankfully I overheard the conversation at the next desk, while the desk-clerk was busy making his call (what isn't that good, if you are keen on privacy protection), but so I hadn't to deal with that guy anymore.
We had a king bed and a one-big-blanket was brought instead of 2 tiny-ones very quick.
Unfortunately one of the blinds was missing (see picture). We found out about that, when going to bed late at night.
That missing blind was the reason, the room could not be darkened; so we were waking up several times while dawn.
That's no good for a 5-star-hotel: if somebody took out the blind; he'd rather inform the front-desk, that his room couldn't be booked for the period of the missing blind.
Speaking of a 5-star-hotel:
In a category like this, I'm expecting a fresh squeezed orange-juice for breakfast.
Unfortunately, they are not able to serve one.
And worse: They refuse to let me have a coke-classic included in the breakfast instead of the we-don't-have-fresh-squeezed-orange-juice.
They jeopardize a client-relationship instead, as I had to learn when complaining at the front desk.
Well: Here you go = this is my review.
Thank you, Bristol hotel.
