Owner description: Used as a commercial and military transport center before World War I, this famous town square, which was trapped in the no-man's-land next to the Berlin Wall during the Cold War, is currently under construction to become once again one of Berlin's chief commercial centers.

“Certainly centrally situated”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 4, 2013

We spent some time in the shopping mall and found it nicely sign posted. Although there was a significant amount of roadworks which made it quite hard to navigate around the city, it seems like many of the roads lead to Postsdamer Platz.

“Nice, but not much”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 26, 2013

Very beautiful architecture at Sony Center, with the dome being lit at night. Other than that, this is a place full of modern high rise buildings which are a bit charmless in a city with so much history and so much to see/do. Still, I recommend for all architecture and design lovers.

“Shiny”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 25, 2013 via mobile

I really like the architecture of the place, of shiny modernity. The Sony center is gorgeous, both inside and outside, and the whole square is bustling with life. Do not miss the Berlin Wall, although for some reason this fragment is full of chewing gum.

“Very nice in the evening”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 18, 2013

It`s a very beautiful modern construction, which should be seen in the evening. The restaurants and cafes here are quite epensive, but here you can find also a very interesting Cinema museum.Worth visiting, we were impressed.

“Not at all what I expected”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 13, 2013

Having spent the day exploring the rest of Berlin, I felt that Potsdamer Platz was quite out of place with its tall glass buildings. The Sony center was amazing to see though
