Must see in Berlin. The History on display gives a thorough timeline of 20th century German history and rise and fall of Nazi regime. Large piece of Berlin Wall is also there. Indoor and Outdoor exhibits.

This Tour is near one of the remaining sections of the Berlin Wall on the former grounds of the SS. Gives good background information on the development of the Nazi movement and the individuals driving this process. Very interesting and disturbing at the same time.

Would suggest more film footage of events during that period and more in-depth profiles of the childhood, family and background of the major Nazi leaders.

We spent several hours at this site. Be prepared to do that as there is so much to read about and the documentation is extensive. It can be exhausting. But you are literally "at the scene" of history. The outside site is just as informative as the inside and it did take a long time to get through it all. It was pretty crowded, too, but you can move through it at your own pace. This is probably the number 1 "must see" museum in Berlin. Do not miss it!
