“Brilliant!”
Reviewed March 14, 2013 via mobile

I was in Berlin for 10 days and saw all the sights and more and this was one of the best. What remains of the cells is really interesting to see and the information outside is also really interesting and in great detail. Inside the rise of Nazism and the actions of the Nazis is really well explained and again in great detail. Typography of Terror is free and tbh i would of been willing to pay to get in. Definitely recommend.

A really interesting exhibition, with all text in English as well as German. Brilliant value as it is free.

“Best place to understand the rise of nazism”
Reviewed March 13, 2013

I tried hard to explain to my teenagers how the nazism could happen in a place like ours (Denmark), after 3 days we went here (last) and it finally reckoned upon them. The many mounted photos who took you on a journey from 1933 an onwards did the trick. So many grave but beautiful photos was stunning. If you are driving here from (i.e. Denmark) I would stop in Sachenhausen and take the audiotour in english. It is really good as well.

“Interesting but lots to take in”
Reviewed March 13, 2013

Almost too much to read, but that could be my short attention span! Not quite sure what the outside exhibition was about, but inside was more interesting. Toilets clean :)

“Sobering yet informative”
Reviewed March 12, 2013

The outdoor displays helped fill a huge gap in my knowledge of world history: the rise of Hitler and Naziism, their successful reign of terror, the awful effects. The exhibit inside of the houses and their occupants was well conceived and executed.
