There is a ton to see at the Pergamon Museum of Middle Eastern and Islamic Art. We were there with a group of seven so we concentrated on the main highlights. They have reconstructed one of the gates of Babylon which is impressive. Also check out the Aleppo Room and the Alhambra Dome. What blew me away though, was the two story Roman marketplace. It is stunning.

You can get timed tickets that will help with waiting in line.

Wonderful large items such as gates and entire room displays. Some of the items are not on display at the moment due to renovation and will be for another few years, and due to this there were also very long queues. Be sure to buy a timed ticket online to skip the queue!

The Ishtar Gate and the Alhambra Dome were my favourites, but there's plenty of other interesting things to see also. An audio guide set is included.

Whilst some of the exhibits were very impressive, some areas were closed for refurbishment (I know the work is essential) my overall feeling is that I would not recommend The Pergamon to family and friends.
