A breathtaking museum - comfortably outstrips the Elgin Marbles at the British Museum. If you have the time, get the 3 day all museum pass - too much to see and absorb in one day

The museum is amazing. Especially the Ishtar section.
Some ideas to visitors who read about the long ques:
1. You can buy entry ticket to Pergamon Museum in any other museum on the isle. So go to the less clouded galleries.
2. If you have a combo ticket of metro+museum isle, stamped and valid for the metro, you don't need to stay in ques. Just go directly to the museum you want.
3. Be there at 1000 when museum opens , you will enjoy from relatively less crowded places and more cooler rooms, the museum is not air conditioned.
4. Despite the long explanations in the audio system, don't miss it!

I purchased the three day museum pass and it was well worth it. This museum on particular was worth the several visits i made. The Ishtar gate and Pergamon Alter are amazing to see.

I visited Museum with high expectations but at the end I was a bit dissappointed. It is good to see definitely, especially for fans of "this". After a long waiting to get your tickets you are not allowed to enter the Museum with your bags. If you want to store there is no place for you because all spots are occupied... Hmmm... The history of the Museum interests me more than the content. The top attractions should look a bit different.

Very crowded and a little pricey 14 Euros but over all nice collection. Enjoyed the Neues Museum a little more.
