Came here with some friends. While it's fancy and fun, everything seems grossly overpriced! A spaceship toy here goes for around €1,000. Like seriously? That's an outrageous amount for a common toy!

Hey Sam,
thanks for your review.
We are currently working on the price structure, so please give us a little bit more time to implement it, thanks.
Which spaceship do you mean? The product with the highest price is in the moment the Millennium Falcon from Star Wars for 800,-€. The retail price in the LEGO onlineshop is only 1 Cent! cheaper.
We are looking forward to hearing from you.
Cheers, the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Berlin
If you expect a great place with many attractions, forget it! I would recommend it to families with small.kids but definetely not teenagers!
The tickets are quite expensive, so check online deals or get a coupon with disscount ( we found one in restaurant).
Entering the exposition, you have nice view of Berlin ( lego style) some movie stars. Then you take a ride in a train trough dragon land. I give 10 points out of 10 for patience to build this all.
The rest is just some attractions for kids, like carussel, climbing wall, building lego and cinema. Teeneagers will be really bored here!
For all the advertisment that this place had, I could spend the money more wisely.
Hi Michellina82,
thanks for your review.
Please note, our Discovery Centre are made for kids aged up to max. 10 years and their families.
Kind regards, the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Berlin
I was there with my three years old son on the 2nd of January. The place is located under Sony center. The ticket is much cheaper to by online 13,70 Euro instead of 19,50 Euro at the gate. I think that the place is just too small to accommodate many visitors and it is charging so much money for not much attraction. There were almost no place for parents to take a rest while their children were playing. In addition, children cannot enjoy playing because there are too many people in such a small place. If one want to buy Lego, it is better to visit Lego store in Berlin, which has much more selections.
Hi potatosan,
thanks for your honest review.

We took our two kids (6 and 4) to Lego discovery, both are big fans of Lego, and having seen the queue, we paid the extra for the fast entry, which still left us queueing for at least 20 minutes, but compared to the main queue, which we estimate would have taken well over an hour, it was worth paying the extra for.
We all loved the mini world at the beginning and the seated ride was fun for the kids. In the main area, the kids loved the Ninjago soft play, and the Lego building table. We also went to the cinema, although the screening timings were poorly advertised and it was, understandably, in German, so the kids found this a little boring, not understanding any German. We skipped the DUPLO area, and neither of our children were interested in building and racing their own Lego cars, although this looked fun for older children. Just over an hour into our visit and we had done everything of interest. We therefore exited into the shop with the promise of a small Lego set for each child.
We left empty handed as the prices for the Lego sets were astronomical. They were at least twice, if not three times more expensive than you would find in a high street shop, or online, which we felt was hugely inappropriate.
It was a good lesson in value for money for our kids, but I am still reeling from the inflation that Lego feel they are entitled to add on to their products here. Very disappointing.
Hi AnsteyL,
thanks for your honest review.
It is not true that our prices are two or three times more expensive than in the online shop or in the store.
Our prices are only 1 Cent! higher, as in the online shop from LEGO.

It’s crowded and not that interesting. Felt sorry for the people who paid more for a “fast pass” type thing, but that gave you no priority in the lines for rides, only quicker entry into the center. If only recommend this place on a school day and if it were raining and nothing else to do with kids under 10.
Hi MeghannT_12,
thanks for your review.

Went with two smallest kids to kill an afternoon, and it wasn’t far from killing it.
Expensive for what you get. Over €50s for what essentially is a glorified soft play centre with some Lego.
Even the 3D movie only lasts a few minutes. Having been to several other legoland this is bottom of list.
It’s pluses we’re the Berlin city scenario which was impressively cool, with lifelike scenes but once you’d done that it was it.
Wasn’t sure what to expect in Berlin legoland but maybe I’m just greedy and expected a little more for the money
