This is a great restaurant if you like good meat. The menu was extremely simplistic consisting of only three different kinds of meat as main course (with a selection of some 5-10 side orders). That was it. One dessert and some starters.
We had some mixed cold cuts for starters which was nicely prepared and distributed in a generous way to our table. Good german sausages and nice ham.
The meat for main course was vell prepared and to my liking. I had spinach as a side order which was ok, nothing fancy or special. But, in this place, the meat stands out and speaks for itself.
We had a cheee platter and a small icecream dessert. The assortment of cheese was very good, whereas the dessert was a bit dull.
The food was accompanied by a good variety of wines, we tried a couple of different Spanish wines (since we had a Spaniard with us) and we were impressed by the overall quality of the wines.
The venue is modern and functional, I like this kind of interior with lots of bare surfaces and only a few details sticking out. But if you are looking for a romantic setting, this is not the place for you.
Serivce was excellent all throughout the dinner, they were a bit slow in getting us the bill in the end though so we had to get up and ask for it.
All in all a very good dining experience in Berlin, most recommended.
