This hotel is positioned in an affluent area of Berlin close to the zoo and the main shopping shops. There are an abundance of nearby restaurants too.
The property appears pretty new and the service on reception was excellent. The room was not the biggest but was spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed. However, I failed to get much sleep at all the first night of our three night stay thanks to the railway line which ran straight past our window about three floors below. We were in an even numbered room, and it looks as if odd numbered rooms on the other side of the building would probably not suffer the same problem. The trains only seemed to stop running between around 1am and 4:30am so there was little respite.
Free wi-fi and an excellent, plentiful buffet breakfast.
This property would have rated five stars without question were it for the noise - as simple as that.More
