Four of us stayed at this Ramada for last weekend (18-20 July) on a room only basis. Bedrooms very comfortable with excellent showers, only downsides being very poor quality pillows and no tea/coffee in room. Did provide a free safe in every room which was handy.
Lifts always available no matter how busy the foyer became, and air conditioning excellent - heatwave during our stay up to 39'C. The range of cold beers overall was really brilliant throughout the city, and bar after bar after bar, with service no problem at all. If you go you must try currywurst, a local delicacy and most enjoyable.
Staff at this hotel generally friendly but not the best conversationalists, esp the restaurant on the one day we decided to have breakfast in house - great value at 15 euros by the way. At one point we were told we had 10 minutes to finish before we had to leave, and it had not reached closing time yet!!! Their curious attitude was more than redeemed by a receptionist called Mandy who checked us out - she was just wonderful, talkative, and extremely helpful yo everyone.More
