After initally being told by mutter hopper (resturant next door) - a flat NO to a table we then ventured next door. In contrast the service was welcoming and excellent. They were clearly busy but had the grace to apologise properly to anyone they couldn't imediately offer a table too. Our food was very good, traditional German fare of generous portions at very reasonable prices for this picturesque location near the Nikolakirchplatz. With an open kitchen to view what was going on. Anyway there are lots of good options on the street should you go there!
