I really loved the Cosmo hotel. It is very modern, rooms are comfortable and the location is great - within walking distance to most Berlin attractions and across the street from a U-Bahn station should you need to travel farther. Also the staff is great - very welcoming, helpful and nice.
We did have a couple of maintenance issues (dysfunctional air condition in one room, bad shower head in another) which took longer than expected to fix (and required multiple notifications), but overall t was a great stay an given their reasonable pricing - I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I don't even know where to start with this hotel. The rooms are badly insulated from a very noisy street right below, on top of that there were no curtains in the room so the blinds that were on the outside the window offered little protection from the sun. So if we were not awake because of the noise, the light would wake us. It's marketed as a 'design' hotel' yet the room were just basic, not minimalist. The breakfast is way overpriced. The location is good, but everything else was disappointing.

The Cosmo is a beautiful boutique hotel with friendly and helpful staff and really good location.

We did think, however, that another boutique hotel that we had stayed in while in Berlin offered better value with full breakfast included and free wifi both in the room and at four nice computers in the lobby. (The front desk at the Cosmo will let you borrow a laptop to use in the lobby/bar area.)

The room was lovely, with a large bathroom. Our only criticism was that there was only a small cupboard with a few hangers. so we basically had to live out of our suitcases during our stay.

We had a room on the first floor which was a bit loud and right next to the conference rooms, but the room was spacious and very clean. It is in a great location with good restaurants and upscale bars nearby. Staff was polite and the amenities were good but beds are incredibly soft.
This is one of the best boutique hotels we have stayed in thus far.

The hotel might be a little anonymous from the outside but it's from the inside that it reveals its character. Stylish rooms but handy, comfy beds and super breakfast. Good for business, families and couples.

Located in a quiet neighborhood directly across from the Spittelmarkt station on the U-Bahn 2 line, the hotel is walking distance to most major tourist sites. It's an easy walk to Friedrichstraß, Gendarmenplatz, Potsdamerplatz, Checkpoint Charlie, Holocaust Memorial, Stassi Museum, etc. It's a bit further but manageable walk to Museum Island or Alexanderplatz. The neighborhood itself is uninteresting. Don't even think of eating at the restaurant across the street near the U-Bahn entrance. It was awful.

The Cosmo is a modern and nicely decorated business hotel. The bed was comfortable. Our Standard room was a little on the small side for two people. We were on the 8th floor facing the main street. Noisy with open windows, but quiet once shut. Unfortunately we couldn't leave the windows open at night.

We had a big problem with the shower. Water would flood the floor of the bathroom with every shower. The shower is a walk in area with a small curb. There's a small pane of glass next to the showerhead meant to prevent the water from spraying out into the rest of the bathroom. We alerted the front desk and they sent someone to address the situation. Seems like all he/she did was aim the showerhead towards the wall, making it impossible to take a shower! Not a solution.

Wifi only in the lobby, which is annoying. Nice small gym and sauna.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the backside of the hotel.

Minimal white interior, rectangular spaces, tall ceilings, and windows, this hotel really worked for me. The theme continued in our well appointed top (8th) floor room with shower room (no bath or bidet). The rooms on the south side of the hotel (801 & 802 and corresponding numbers on lower floors) face onto a garden where a fountain magically gushes into action at 10 a.m. precisely (not difficult when you're German) rather than a busy six lane strasse but effective double glazed fenestration blocks out most, if not all traffic noise. Very good breakfasts mit eggs, any way you like them. Young, attractive, mostly friendly staff. Position near museum island and a reasonable walk of Brandenburg Gate difficult to better. In short, terrific! Loved Berlin too - so visit if you haven't already.
