The Ivbergs Premiuim is good value for money. We stayed in a twin room on the first floor at the front of the hotel. The road outside the hotel is reasonably busy but this didn't affect us sleeping. Positives - location, 5 minutes walk to Wittenbergplatz station and the KaDeWe store, the rooms are clean, staff friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was great. The journey from Schönefeld Airport was only 45 minutes - one train to the Zoologischer station, then one stop on the U2 line, ticket was only €3.20. Negatives - wifi wasn't free, pillows were poor and despite having 70 odd channels we struggled to find English channels.

The hotel was located minutes walk from Ku'Daam street and the metro.
We arrived at 10:15 on our first day and asked to have breakfast (open till 10:30) after a night flight and a drive from the airport - we weren't allowed, saying it's too late.
I know they don't have to - but a similar situation happened to me in other trips and we were allowed in, we didn't even had to ask..
A similar situation occurred on the final day: We had to check out very early (at 06:30) and breakfast only opens at 06:30 - so the day before in the morning hours we asked if they could make lunch boxes for us for the final day since we won't have time to eat.
They said "sure, just remind us in the evening and we'll have it for you".
That day we traveled till 20:00 and once we got back we reminded the reception about the lunch boxes we talked about in the morning. They said: "It's too late, you should have told us by 18:00".. So I was supposed to shorten my day-trip just to tell them to write our names for the lunch boxes list?! Couldn't they have written it in the morning? Also - Even if we arrived at 20:00 and asked - It's not like the lunch boxes were already prepared..They are probably preparing them in the morning - so is it that difficult to add 2 more lunch boxes?!
It's not like I didn't pay for this breakfast!! That really p*ssed me off...
Those 2 things left a bit of a bad taste about this hotel, other than that all was good.
Breakfast was very rich and changed a bit in the 2 days we had it.
On the up side - It was our 3rd anniversary and I have sent an e-mail 2 weeks prior and asked for any surprise they can set up in our room for the occasion : They made a cute greeting card and left a small champagne bottle for us - so that was cool of them to do.
The hotel is clean, modern and we were on the 4th floor which was very quiet.
Like I said- great location and overall a good hotel and value.
Overall - I would recommend this hotel just cause it's a good value and has great location - but I would advise you to be prepared to eat out or buy sandwiches for the flight.

The hotel has some good points-excellent location 10 mins walk to Ka De We and 5 mins to the Metro.The staff are helpful and polite. The hotel is spotlessly clean.
However the hotel has no facilities apart from a clattery breakfast room-just 100s of rooms and a reception and seems to be mainly full of coach parties. Rooms are OK well equiped but small-only one armchair-but the only way to watch TV is to sit on the bed. Toilet and shower have doors but bathroom open to bedroom. No wardrobe just hanging space.
Breakfast is a huge buffet but not wonderful quality-hot food at 8.30 was all tepid and tired- and certainly not worth the 17 euros pp charged if not in room rate.
In the six days that we were there one of the only two lifts was broken, meaning long waits.
