“Tastes just like vietnam”
Reviewed March 5, 2013

I heard its the best restaurant in Mitte-Berlin... well, maybe best asian. the decoration looks amazing and vibrant. and some 80s Schwarzenegger style portrait of an asian muscle guy on the wall... probably be Monsieur Vuong. the food is placed nicely and the price... probably its the average in berlin. but who may complain? it tastes as good as the ones at food stands in Vietnam. the proportion of chilli, fish sauce, sweet basil, lime... is damm right. We came at noon for a hangover stomach therapy, it worked. recommand to go earlier like 12 sharp since it seems to be a hotspot for working people nearby or u probably need to wait for a seat.

Only busy after8.30 so if you arrive early it not too busy.hard to find during day when shut but easy at night because they have a canopy over entrance on street.the food ,service, and price was good but having read all reviews i think i was expecting more.

“Good food, great value”
Reviewed March 4, 2013

Mr. Vuong has got down the 'don't put too much on the menu so you can make it consistently good' idea. There's a daily menu that changes, but doesn't get too complicated. Ingredients are always fresh, flavorful and portions are more than generous. Plus most plates are under 10 euros, and there's even some atmosphere. Service is spotty but they try and it's good enough. Great value..
