Stayed for two nights in mid July - brief visit to Berlin for a concert Good location - convenient for shops restaurant , and public transport Very comfortable room , layout a little eccentric but excellent bed , very efficient wifi , shower efficient and easy to control - an excellent detail! Staff were always helpful and friendly , breakfast until 11 am , food and drink available all day and on the house !! I thoroughly enjoyed my couple of days here - very warmly recommended , and a 5 star rating

its ideally located in the Mitte district. Its got all the basics you need completely sorted and thats the reason why its so good:

The rooms are large compared to other hotels, super clean, very fashionable and comfy.

The wet room has the worlds biggest shower which is a must.

The internet is free, and works perfectly.

The 7th floor has free food and soft drinks all day. Alcohol is via an honesty bar. it has great views of Berlin.

Breakfast is included in the room rate and its very good.

The staff are lovely.

You cannot hear other guests.

I always stay here when i visit Berlin, you cannot go wrong.

Room Tip: go higher so you don't hear the trams rumble by.

great location to all the trendy places...the hotel has a wonderful lounge where you can get snacks through out the day and also breakfast. A perfect place to take a break. The rooms are alternative but very comfortable. There is a great restaurant on the ground floor

Good location in the Mitte district. Walking distance to train station and nearby restaurants. Supermarket and interesting stores nearby. Easy access to international airport by taxi.

Staff is generally friendly and helpful. However, if you wish to take restaurant recommendations, you need to adjust your expectations. Berlin is not a culinary destination. You may end up paying too much for substandard food. A sandwich from the next door supermarket would save you euros and attitude.

Room is basic and clean. There is no water or tea making facilities in the room so we were spending quite a fair bit of hydrating time on the dinning floor where you can have a free flow of juices, tea and light snacks. There's a good size bar too.

The bathroom is rather dim as it only relies on a one feet by one feet square shaped light source beaming into the shower. Opening the shuttlers would only allow neighbours from across the building to have a peep show.

There are no curtains to draw, just the switches to raise or lower the shutters which I find really neat. There is however a drape which separates the room from the sink and shower area if you are a light sleeper.

The room provides, of course, camper rubber bedroom slippers. Pink for ladies! Safe for your precious and environmental friendly large vats of shampoo, soap and body lotion.

The room rate comes with breakfast. Plentiful for a great big start for the day. Eggs made to order, sometimes smoked salmon, seeded bread, croissants, cheeses, fruit, juices, coffee, tea and more coffee.

I will return.

My fiancee and I stayed here for 5 days this August (2013) and greatly enjoyed our stay.

Our flight was set to arrive at a little after 8 am so I called a couple of days earlier to see if we could check in (very) early. The front desk said that it could probably be arranged morning of and lo and behold a room was made available to us (at no charge) as soon as we walked in the door.

The room was spare but very comfortable. The shower is amazing. The windows fill the room with light but the light can be dimmed by closing the exterior mechanical shade or by interior curtains.

The included breakfast is excellent and the snacks and drinks available 24 hours (honor bar for alcohol) was even more helpful than I expected it to be. Snacks (including sandwiches and fruit) are available around the clock, along with a selection of bottled drinks and coffee. This was a very valuable service as it meant you never had to worry about meals. Coming home late from a night out? Up very early in the morning? Something good to eat and drink was available without leaving the hotel, and without any of the additional hassle or expense of room service.

Wifi was consistently good and the staff was uniformly pleasant and courteous. There are a lot of nice touches - umbrellas can be borrowed for free from the front desk, bicycles are available for rent, the front desk sells the Berlin Welcome Card, etc. The location is within easy walking distance of many of the major sights and is right next to a subway stop, which readily connects to Berlin's excellent public transportation network.

In short, a place I would recommend without reservation.

My husband and I spent 4 days here in August. Being distance runners, we completely explored Berlin on foot and can say that we could not have chosen a better location. Vibrant and "hip" location, close to everything you wanna see and do: trains, river Spree park atmosphere, P-Berg restaurants, H-market/people watching fun, Alexander Platz shopping, museum island, Holocaust sites--all an easy and enjoyable walk. Spacious and comfortable room designed for the traveler--love the wall of hooks and lighting choices! Bathroom shower, huge counter, slippers-amazing. Bikes for rent right in the lobby. Easy place to recover from jet lag, with the 24/7 Bodega where you could get cold diet sodas (not so easy in Europe), alcoholic beverages (small charge via honor system), coffees, snacks that are more like small meals (Not just saving money, but also saving the stress of finding a place to eat), with lots of fresh fruit and yoghurt, read the paper, play chess, socialize, enjoy the free wifi, and just relax away from the bustle of the city.

Room Tip: Our room was quiet and air conditioning worked great (temps were in the high 90's while visiting...

We loved the Casa Camper. Great design in the room - sleek, comfortable, large, well-equipped, wonderful shower, good bed and bedding, very quiet. Wonderful food on the 7th floor, with healthful breakfast and healthful snacks available all day, included in the price. Very airy and cheerful - exceedingly pleasant staff.

All staff friendly, and a great location a few steps from a subway stop and walking distance to major museums. We might have to go to Barcelona just to stay in the other Casa Camper.
