Casa Camper Berlin offers a refreshing change from the usual corporate minded hotel and demonstrates some real thought in terms of design. Attention has been paid to maximizing coziness but cool at the same time. The room was well designed with nice fixtures and amenities with an atypical layout (for example the bathroom has the window over the sink so you look out as you are there; a line of hooks along the wall to hang things and keep them off the floor = less clutter). The reception desk was friendly but slightly disappointed with the ability to give more than basic advice for things to do nearby. The lounge at the top is a brilliant idea - food and drink whenever, a private lobby of sorts, encourages hanging out. And location is tops! A bit expensive for what it is, especially in Berlin where hotel prices are still fairly moderate.

In the new hip part of town ... We just loved casa camper.
Great service. Comfortable beds. Relaxing rain shower. Small rooms, but well layed out.
Breakfast was delicious.
Neighborhood is up and coming and great to explore.

This small hotel is big on service and amenities. The rooms are up to date modern with quirky electronic privacy window controls. Night time turn down service include slippers placed by the bed. Big bath robes are also provided as is bottled water. No need for mini-fridges as there is self-service food available 24/7. Convenient to bus and local train transportation. Definitely recommend.

the other reviewers have captured both the essence and the specific details of what makes this such an exceptional hotel for tourists. the availability of the many reviews and the details included in them take so much of the uncertainty out of traveling. this is not the Adlon. or a Four Seasons. and there is no coat and tie required. but if you are a traveler lacking unlimited resources, this hotel is exceptionally well conceived and executed in away that make your stay comfortable and convenient. it is a real oasis for serious and hard core travelers.

Casa Camper is a great place to stay - central location, simple, comfortable decor, excellent rain shower (I miss it already!) and all the amenities that you need including free wifi. You get a little 'information pack' with your room card, which gives you a few handy tips about getting to and from nearby places. There's also a map on the wall of each room. Good toiletries (including conditioner!) are provided (NB: you're actively encouraged not to pack them away when you leave, but they do offer them to purchase. Great hairdryer and funky silicone Camper slippers, which are also available to purchase. Complimentary snacks and non-alcoholic drinks (alcoholic drinks are chargeable) are available in the top floor restaurant all day. Breakfast in this hotel is a lovely experience as you have a nice unobstructed view over Berlin as you tuck into the made-to-order food. Food-wise, there's lots of choice including hot food like scrambled eggs/omelette etc and/or continental options (croissants, cheeses, hams, cakes, yogurts, fruit etc).

We stayed here for five nights and could not have been happier. The rooms are large with a shower room and counter space for work or just scattering all your travel necessities. The beds are super comfortable and there is no audible outside noise. The young staff is friendly and extremely helpful, and best of all is the top floor with delicious breakfast and snacks all day. They also have newspapers and comfy chairs for drinking coffee and reading.

Casa Camper Berlin has perfected the travel experience. The attention to customer comfort in every detail of the stay is awe-inspiring. They provided things I didn't even know I needed. Now every other hotel will pale in comparison. For example: ample hooks to hang all the little things you pick up on vacation in an area where you can see and remember it, a LARGE counter space to store toiletries and a stool to sit in to primp, separate toilet area, huge shower that featured an overhead shower, a hand held shower AND a bidet, best ever!, delightful bath gel, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion provided by Casa Camper, free bottle of water in your room every day, a lounge complete with snacks, fruit, chef-prepared omelets for breakfast, salmon, breads, cheeses, soft drinks, computer access, lovely couches, and tables, beautiful views of the city from every room, customer-service-oriented staff who answer any and every question. Need I list more? Also, loved the location of the hotel. Subways are right there (literally steps away) and the staff arranged an early morning taxi to take us to the airport and the driver was great! Amazing. Fun, Funky, Wonderful! Way more luxurious and pampering than any 5 star I've stayed in! If you are in Berlin, don't miss this hotel!!!
