Overall it was ok- rooms clean, breakfast - ok, average as usual just simple buffet. Staff also quite open and friendly, not all of thrm tho.
- On the new years eve there was no hot water at all!
- we booked 2 rooms and one of them wasnt clean at all (towels on the floor, bed not made). Need to say it was fixed immediately, we were given another room
- during breakfast one of waiters decided that one of us didnt pay for it (nevertheless we had breakfast for 2 days before and he didnt object). Basically we paid and had receipts. Sort of misunderstanding that made me feel really uncomfortable.
I didnt expect extra-level service of course! But these 3 things were upsetting.

This place is ok to spend 2 nights, not more. It is really clean, so no worries. S-bahn is 2 minutes walk, with about 20 mins to Alexanderplatz

The hotel is located in what was formerly East Berlin. As far as cleanliness goes, this hotel passes with flying colors. If you want your towels replaced daily, you just have to put the sign on the door so the staff will know to do this. The hotel is conveniently located close to the train station for easy accessibility to the city center. Breakfast came with the room price and it was substantial.

We were hoping to have dinner at the hotel restaurant as we came in late but the food was not to our taste. However, since it is close to the train station, there are places nearby where one can get food, that is if any of them are still open.

We rented an apartment for 5 people. While Room #1 was what one expected from the photos shown describing the hotel, Room #2 took some getting used to. It was very huge and in the room were 2 bunk beds, a table that could double as a dining table and a sort of living room (coffee table with 2 chairs). This was one's reminder that the hotel was in an area that was part of East Berlin and somehow explained the set-up. This would be fine if it were a family traveling with kids. However, if you have several adults, it is not exactly "user-friendly." With all that space available, I would humbly suggest that they reconfigure it and instead provide twin and or double beds. The room looked so stark and spartan. It wouldn't hurt if they made it look a bit more cozy and warm.

We traveled in late September so didn't have the problems that travelers experienced in the summer with regard to heat.

In the East part of the city, the hotel is very close to trains (you can be in Warschauer Tor in 10 minutes and in Alex Platz in 15). It is a really clean hotel, fresh towel as we let them claean the room. The bathroom also is nice, with mosaics. The staff is ok. As italian, i hate breakfast, no pankakes, good coffe or cakes, hot milk and sweeties. Some people have had their party after marriage there, but no noise. We booked with booking.com and it was really cheap, less than 20 euros per night. The first morning I have opened the window and i have seen the Fernsehturm :)
